Medieval Underground Tour

Description
In the Old Town Hall’s enigmatic underground we will discover not only former Romanesque and Gothic houses, but even an original street. The labyrinthine subterranean system is older than the Town Hall itself, and the complex of medieval halls, passages and tunnels is the largest of its kind in Prague. At the point where the unspoilt streets of Prague’s Old Town give way to the redeveloped Jewish Quarter, you will see how Prague progressively grew in height.

A fascinating look beneath the streets of Prague. It was remarkable to discover how much of the medieval city still survives underground. Our interesting guide Jana N explained how street levels changed over the centuries and shared stories about life in medieval Prague. Too bad you can no longer see the underground waterworks. Not for the Claustrophobic.
Great tour. Matej, the guide, was very knowledgeable, clear, and candid, explaining everything really well. It was really cool to look at the old roman houses and a city "hidden" underneath.
Kind and friendly guide, they told us a lot of funny and interesting anecdotes.

The tour was well laid out and Kveta our guide was great at answering questions. She was great at explaining the rules and interjected some humour in her talks. I would recommend this tour to others.
