Matcha table tea ceremony experience in Tokyo

Description
Table tea ceremony can be experienced more casually than the original tea ceremony. Since you do not sit on the floor, your feet do not hurt. The "Omotenashi Chanoyu" workshop has been attended by Argentinians, Koreans, and Americans over the past three years. It is very enjoyable because you can eat both seasonal and Japanese sweets together.

The other day, my family and I experienced a traditional Japanese culture “Table Tea Ceremony” together! I was a little nervous at first, but the teacher was very kind and explained everything in detail with English. The children quickly got used to it and enjoyed learning the etiquette of serving tea and how to receive sweets. Since we used a table and chairs instead of sitting on tatami mats, we didn't have to worry about numb feet, and the children were able to relax and enjoy the experience. The use of authentic tea bowls and tea whisks also provided an authentic atmosphere.

I took a tea ceremony lesson, a traditional Japanese cultural activity. We were worried about the language barrier, but the teacher was fluent in English and taught us the history, spirit, and manners of the tea ceremony with humor. The children were excited to experience it for the first time and enjoyed learning the etiquette of tea ceremony. They were deeply moved by the silence and beauty of the tea room, the aroma of the tea, and the hospitality of the teacher. I feel that my understanding of Japanese culture has deepened and our family bond has grown stronger.
