We had such an amazing experience in Peru with Waska from Machu Picchu Mystical Tour. We were a big group of 27 people, so there were a lot of moving parts, but Waska handled everything incredibly well from start to finish. He coordinated all of our pickups, drop-offs, transportation, tours, and timing, and he was always giving us great recommendations along the way. What made the experience even more special was how much he taught us about the history and culture of Peru. He didn’t just take us from place to place he helped us understand what we were seeing and gave us a deeper appreciation for the country. Waska spoke with our group in both English and Spanish, which was a huge plus and made everyone feel included and comfortable. During our trip, we visited Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, Cusco on a City Tour, Rainbow Mountain by ATV, and Humantay Lake. Every experience was different and unforgettable. With a group of 27, things could have easily felt chaotic, but Waska kept everything organized and made the trip feel easy and enjoyable. Waska made our experience 10 times better than we could have ever experienced on our own or most likely anybody else. His deep knowledge of the culture and experience of the Peruvian region and ancient culture provided us with an additional depth we could have never experienced without him. We spent approximately 10 days doing multiple tours obviously the highlight being Machu Picchu but there were so many other tours and events that we worked with amazingly well organized coordinated and knowledgeable. The 4 days jungle to Machu Picchu were unforgettable. Waskar took the time for us and the kids. He told personal stories, showed the children a lot of fruit and plants and was genuinely interested in us and has a real passion for his country and the Incas. If you’re lucky enough to have Waskar as your guide on the Inca Trail, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived in Cusco, he went above and beyond to make our trip special, even arranging our airport pickup. During the ten days we spent in Cusco, he made us feel like family. His passion for Inca history, culture and traditions brought every site to life. The Inca Trail was one of the most challenging hikes we’ve ever done, but Waskar encouraged us every step of the way. His kindness, patience and positive attitude kept everyone motivated. He also captured beautiful photos of our journey and we loved spotting colorful birds along the trail, especially the hummingbirds. We enjoyed our experience so much that we booked several more tours with his company, including the Sacred Valley, Vinicunca, white-water rafting, zip-lining, mountain biking and horseback riding.
