I became shogun for one day
This was easily one of the most memorable experiences I had in Tokyo. It wasn’t just about eating sushi—you actually get to make your own while learning about the traditions behind it, and the whole experience is designed to be interactive and fun.
The staff were incredibly friendly and energetic, creating an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable participating. The games and live entertainment kept us laughing throughout the meal, making it feel much more like an event than a typical dinner.
The sushi course itself was excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Everything was well organized, and the pace of the experience was just right, so there was always something to enjoy.
If you’re visiting Asakusa with friends or family and want something beyond the usual sightseeing spots, I’d highly recommend this experience. It’s a great combination of delicious food, Japanese culture, and unforgettable entertainment.
I had shogun course which is about ¥18000 and it was worth while! Group of friends (around 10 people) or couple are the great deal!

Memorable experience in Tokyo
Very good experience at JIN Asakusa. The chef explains everything step by step and guides you during the preparation, making it easy to follow even without prior experience.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and you enjoy the entire process without rushing. In the end, you can eat what you prepare, which adds a different and quite pleasant touch.
Overall, a recommended activity if you are in Asakusa and want to do something different.

Sushi Master Class 🍣
I was at this place for the first time and I was very pleased. The staff speaks excellent English (the chef only communicates in Japanese). Didn't know cooking sushi was so hard 😅 but it's a lot of fun.
1.5 hours flew by without being noticed, we entered a competition tasting fish, crab, caviar and meat trying to taste the difference between what was more expensive and what was what. At the same time, the chef delighted us with delicious sushi.
I especially liked the rolls on the real samurai sword, it looks impressive.
I left fed up, with a bite of vivid experiences and new knowledge of Japanese cuisine!

Great experience!!
Amazing experience in a unique atmosphere.
Surrounded by samurai armors, you will learn how to cook nigiri sushi from a shushi chef and then you’ll try to make it on your own.
Ingredients are fresh and good and after the main sushi meal, you will also go through a super interesting came comparing ingredients to guess which is the higher quality and at the same time learn more about them.
Very interesting and interactive, a great experience to upgrade your sushi experience!!
Operator response
