Meet your guide just outside the Louvre Museum at the location listed on your booking voucher. With timed entry and group access, you'll bypass the main queue for individual visitors and pass through a brief security line before stepping into the world's largest museum. From there, your art historian guide leads your small group onto a curated route through the Louvre's most famous rooms.
Marvel at the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged Victory of Samothrace, then take in some of France's most powerful paintings, including Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People, Géricault's Raft of the Medusa, and David's Coronation of Napoleon. Firstly our guide who was Fateh Merebah was excellent knowledgeable and very entertaining guide. He made the tour worthwhile! You definitely need a tour guide otherwise you would be wandering endlessly throughout this magnificent building and miss the more popular artifacts! Our guide happened to be brilliant and showed us some of the main attractions the museum holds. It a huge place and you definitely need to revisit it to appreciate the size grandeur and collections it holds . Once your inside you can walk miles inside if you want so be prepared for that. Lower down there is a good food complex which even has McDonald's so as long as you find the coffee and snack complexes , then take a break.recharge and continue looking at the great artwork and sculptures it holds. There are also magnificent gardens on the outside to view... which i didn't view as was a bit tired after all the walking inside. This was money well spent and a good guide made it even more pleasurable

We did our tour on Aug 15 2026. Party of 4. Our guide spoke English well, She kept our group moving well, with still allowing time for us to have a good look around. Was very knowledgeable about the history of Louvre. Would definitely recommend Sara for another tour.

Fetah was a fantastic guide, he is very knowledgeable. It is great tour of the highlights of the museum. It is quite warm in many parts of the museum so recommend you bring water and a fan.
