Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal, is a city you can't miss! This full-day tour takes you through Lisbon's iconic, history-filled monuments.
Crossing the iconic 25th April Bridge, we will arrive in Lisbon to begin our exploration of the city’s most emblematic monuments related to the great Portuguese discoveries. Visit the Belém Tower, the stunning Jerónimos Monastery, known as the “jewel” of the Manueline style, and the Monument of the Portuguese Discoveries (entrances are not included).
Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour through the riverside area to the vibrant city centre. In the city centre you can visit the typical Alfama neighbourhood, the Castle of São Jorge (entrance is not included), and explore Lisbon’s charm on foot, immersing yourself in its rich history. You will also have free time to shop or explore the town by your own.
On our return to the Algarve, we will cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge, Europe’s longest bridge, offering stunning views along the way.

Mess with picking up and not good communication with Viator customer service.
I wasn't happy because I have got two different emails with two different times and points to pick up for that trip to Lisbon. I have called to Viator customer service, and a member of staff has given for me completly different informations about pick up time and point. I was very confused. At last me and my partner have been taken from pick up point by small bus, and we have been transferred half an hour to other town towards Faro city, not towards Lisbon city. We have been moved from the bus to the big coach, and we have started to go to Lisbon city again. The same situation was on our way back, because our coach just have passed a town with our hotel, and transferred us far away towards Faro city, where after half an hour we have been moved from the coach to the bus, and we have been transfer by bus to our hotel. We have lost a lot of time ( approx one hour). Two day after our trip to Lisbon I have seen the same coach picking up other tourists from our hotel early morning, and I don't understand why we haven't been picked up by coach from our hotel as well.

Lisbon is great

Best day of our holiday
We did this on our last day of holidays in the Algarve, and was the best day of our holiday! Long day but well worth it, well organised, and well informed
Was our first visit to Lisbon, but this taster has made us want to go back again!

Our guide was the best! She was informative, articulate and so engaging. She pointed out the highlights of Lisbon so during our free time we knew which areas to go to. This tour is a must do, with little time in Lisbon and to get a good taste of the city.

This is not worth the...
This tour was not worth the money at all. We spent around 6–7 hours on the bus just to visit Lisbon for only about 3 hours of so-called “free time.” Most of the initial sightseeing was simply viewing places through the coach window, not like other tours where u can see the structure on foot and spent 10/15min to take pics etc.
The coach left Lisbon at 3:00 PM, which was not made clear in the itinerary. Had this been clearly stated, we would not have booked this tour. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not provide enough time to properly explore Lisbon.

Lisbon daytrip
Please make sure of pick up times as I was told to be at mine at 05.45 when in actual fact it was 06.45. As a solo traveller I did not like having to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for my coach. The guide was fantastic, very sorry even though it was Viators fault of time mix up. Thanks to her, I had a wonderful trip.

Worth it if you just want a taster to see if it’s somewhere to book in the future!
Really great brief introduction to Lisbon. I had roughly 3 and a half hours free time which allowed me to see the main sites I wanted to and grab food and visit a bar a friend told me about too! Great day!
