The visit begins with the pick-up at your hotel in Lima. Meet with your guide and you will head to Miraflores, where your tour begins on foot. Here you can see the most important places in the neighborhood and visit a local market to enjoy the opportunity to see local ingredients and suppliers. Stroll through this market and you can try some of the products that are sold.
Next, you will take public transportation with your guide to go to the historic center of Lima. Once there, walk and visit the main points of interest. First you will see the Exhibition Park, continue to the Palace of Justice and then go to the Plaza San Martín. Next, you will visit the famous Plaza de Armas, also known as the Plaza Mayor and walk through the highlights of its surroundings. While walking, you will learn about its history and importance.
Continue to the Monastery of San Francisco and the church of the same name. Visit the catacombs discovered in 1943, which were a burial site at the beginning of the 19th century. Then, you will go to a restaurant in the area for lunch (not included) and the district of Barranco to see its famous houses and the bohemian atmosphere. Finally, they will take you back to your hotel.

Knowledgeable and experienced
The tourist fantastic Felix was very knowledgeable about all the things we wanted to see. If it were not for Felix, we would not have seen Lima and been exposed to so many cultural. Which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend Felix. He was flexible and fun while being exceptionally knowledgeable. Our only issue with this Tours was taking the bus whichwas very crowded and uncomfortable. This would’ve been better if we had Uber or a driver to and from Lima back to Mira Flores.

DO NOT BOOK - they cancel last minute…
DO NOT BOOK! At 7:30am the morning of our tour (booked for 9am) they say they have no guide and can only offer 2pm, 4pm or 6pm. Who starts a full day tour at 2pm?
We booked this several days in advance and now won’t be able to have a tour of the city due to the last minute cancellation and everything else being booked… HORRIBLE.

Good morning, we understand your displeasure, but our original guide had a personal issue and was unable to pick you up, so we offered you other options. If the tour started at 2:00 p.m. and ended at 6:00 p.m., the tour you booked was only four hours, not a full day. This does not reflect the excellent service we provide as guides.

Lovin’ Lima
Wonderful experience. Well spoken and informed, Jocelyn, expertly guided us to and around the city center with many stops to discuss the historical and cultural details of the city. Hard to cover it all but received a good overview of Lima.

Allyson was superb; very knowledgeable and answered a variety of questions. She is also fun and funny, bringing stories to life, not just dry facts. We loved the flexibility of the private tour. It was clear that Allyson is highly regarded by the greetings she received at various sites. Highly recommended tour.

Beautiful and informative
The most memorable part of the tour beside the beautiful city was the wealth of knowledge our tour guide shared with us about the area, history and culture of peru/ lima. I would absolutely recomend our tour and especially the guide to any one visiting Lima.

Perfect tour of neighbourhoods
This tour was exactly what we wanted. We saw three neighbourhoods and Jocelyn was perfect -in her English and her knowledge and accommodating at the pace that we liked. It truly was a perfect private tour and much better than we ever expected! She was a delight!
