We visited several...
We visited several different food markets and sampled a variety of local foods and then toured the art and galleries of Barranco. Alexis, the tour guide was terrific. Very pleasant and educational. Clearly passionate about his work. Edwin, our driver, did a terrific job navigate the traffic. I highly recommend this tour

10/10 fantastico!
This was hands-down the highlight of our trip! Ask for Cesar--he was absolutely incredible. 10/10 recommend, definitely do not miss this. And do it at the very beginning of your trip because he will give you a long list of recommendations so you know all the places to go for the rest of your time in Lima!

Plenty of food, lots of info
Depends on the guide. Our guide, Gabriela, was knowledgeable and chatty, knew the vendors on the street, and plenty to say about Peruvian food.

A Must Do When Visiting Lima!
I signed up for this activity and ended up being the only person so received a "private" food tour. Silvana (and Mr. Miguel, the driver) was the best host! She took me to local food spots I would have never found or stumbled upon myself. We had some of the best and freshest fish sandwiches, fruit, ceviche, and fish broth soup. We took time between spots to walk and digest, and Silvana explained the history of certain neighborhoods and cultural significance of street murals. I 100% recommend signing up for this, and if you can request Silvana, do it! Such a great way to experience Lima.

Intro to the non touristy side of Lima
Great intro to Lima. This was a tour that combined art, history, food, nature and local insights. The guide Kevin was prompt in arriving to pick us up and great with communications all through the trip. We visited a fishing village and got to sample local seafood after which we heads to a local market to learn about the produce and agriculture of Peru. We got to try several delicious fruits and snacks and then headed to Barranco to walk through parks, check out free galleries and see the famous murals.highly recommend Haku tours
