Great local market and wonderful regional flavors
What a great morning! Yaritza was a fantastic guide, was very informative and gave us a lot of great background on the food and the regions they came from. A fun tuk- tuk experience to get to the market and then tried so many different dishes and snacks. Highly recommended, but skip breakfast as there’s a lot of food!

A wonderful food journey
We were a group of 4 people that did a private tour.
It was truly a great experience. Our guide took us away from the tourist areas and more in the local community. We spent time in local markets tasting a variety of amazing fruits, local dishes (sweet and savory) as well as grabbing some items from street vendors.
Our guide not only introduced the food but also shared so much information on Peru. It was more than just a food tour but also an education on where the food comes from and what makes it so tasty.

The Real Market
A fabulous experience going to the market the locals actually shop at rather than a tourist hub. Each food selection was varied and I ended up having a private tour because the other part of the group had to reschedule. Arturo was very knowledgeable and well known by the vendors, and he made the morning pass by in good company.

Great intro to the local food
A really cool experience exploring a local market with great insights about Peruvian food and produce. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and clearly had a close relationship with the vendors which felt very authentic. Great way to spend half a day.
