Insightful and Uplifting

I took Elena's tour by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. Her real-life stories from a citizen's perspective enriched my understanding far beyond what I learned from the news. Elena's approachable and positive personality made even the heavy topics uplifting. A truly inspiring experience!

Informative & Insightful

This was easily one of the best and most informative tours I’ve ever taken, across all the countries I’ve visited and all the walking tours I’ve experienced. It was incredibly informative, engaging, and well-paced from start to finish. The timing was perfect, the pace was ideal, and even the weather cooperated better than we could have hoped! Most importantly, our tour guide was exceptional: knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. An outstanding experience that I would highly recommend.

Teenager Explorer Scouts Walking Tours

I booked two history walking tours for a group of teenage explorer scouts from Ireland; one about the holocaust and one about life under communism. Our guide was very knowledgeable and organised. She had gone to a lot of effort to pitch the tour at the appropriate level to hold the interest of teenagers and provided lots of interesting pictures and stories from her own family experience. She was really friendly and established a great rapport with the group, being flexible and accommodating and also helping with our transport arrangements and booking other activities during our stay in Bucharest. I can't rate the whole experience highly enough- second to none!! ..

Operator response

Thank you very much for choosing my services, and for your kind words of appreciation! Was a pleasure getting to share some of my knowledge to a group of such interested young men. Safe travels ahead!

Nuanced narrative of communism in Bucharest

Augustin gave us a nuanced view of the complex history of communism in Romania. He has carefully researched the subject and we were enthralled with his historical narration. We thoroughly recommend this you. Try to book Augustine - you won’t be disappointed!

Walking Through History

Daniela was a knowledgeable and engaging guide. By walking the city and visiting a selection of buildings we were given a great sense of post war life and the changes the country went through.
