Description
Hop on a small group tour with a personal service that takes you along the route of Goðafoss waterfall, Lake Mývatn, Dimmuborgir Lavafield, Námafjall geothermal, Psudocraters and the Grjótagjá Cave. If we have time, depending on cruise ships departure time, we visit the Mývatn Nature Baths, where you will get an opportunity to dip into the geothermal water (note that the entry fee, a bathing suit and a towel is not included) or enjoy some refreshments at the inhouse café with a scenic view.

Tangabryggja Port: Just outside the cruise ship area, you will see several small wooden houses. Star Travel is located at house number 3, and we will meet you there.
Oddeyrarbryggja Port: Right outside the ship, you will find an Icewear shop. Next to it is the designated agent area where all tour agents wait for their customers. We will be there with a Star Travel sign. Look for one of our colleagues wearing a bright yellow jacket.

Great Times!
The falls were amazing and so was the rest of the tour. Siggi our guide, had great knowledge of all the places we visited and gave us enough time to enjoy it all.

Do this excursion!

We had an excellent experience. Our guide “Siggy” was amazing! A native of the area and very knowledgeable and friendly. Easy to find and was waiting right outside the cruise ship. Great communication the day before confirming our pick up location and time. Highly recommended. Don’t hesitate to book this tour! 5 stars

Fun small group tour of Godafoss and Lake Myvatn
Our driver and guide Siggi was professional and punctual yet friendly and accommodating. He shared much interesting and helpful information as well as personal experiences. There was enough time at each amazing site around Lake Myvatn and at Godafoss. Earth Lagoon was still under remodeling when we visited but the substitute experience at the Forest Lagoon did not disappoint. We were dropped off at a nearby site of our request.

Great Tour
Great tour despite poor weather and visibility. Guide, Siggi was wonderful- very knowledgeable, very accosting, and helpful to older people on slippery rocks. He made our tour. It tectonic cracks are amazing to see. Highly recommend

Well Worth Booking the Tour!
This experience is an excellent way to view the geological marvels that abound in the northern part of Iceland. It includes some lore of the country by way of elves and trolls which makes the science of the geology even more intriguing.
This trip includes the nature baths which is a fine experience and may get better after expansion concludes in 2026. The nature baths are manmade and not natural, but the heat is geothermal.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about many facets of Iceland and his expertise only added to the day.

Awesome!
The tour was wonderful. The tour bus was comfortable and driver was great. Really enjoyed the stories from tour guide. Loved the farm and stories told by the young man at the farm. Waterfalll was awesome!

Lake Myvatn and Gooafoss
Ziggy was our guide and he took care of everything from start to finish. The tour started at 9:30am sharp and he provided us a lot of information about Iceland and Akurejri, explaining where the next stop is, what to look forward to and beware. He was obviously very customer focused and I would definitely look forward to joining another tour in Iceland with him as our guide.
