Very fun experience to have in Kyoto where this practice emerged. Sofiia was very friendly and even wrote down our names in Japanese so we could paint it onto our plates.
Very easy to fit in if you have some free time. I booked last minute (15 mins before) and that worked great! I will say it’s a very quick process. Note that the included plate is extremely small. So everyone pays to upgrade the plates. The upgrades range from 1,100 yen to 3,300 yen to be paid once you select your piece. Mabia, the instructor, was great!
Very beautiful kintsugi workshop, which I highly recommend. The welcome is warm and the personalized guidance is provided step by step allowing everyone to progress at their own pace. No artistic talent is necessary to leave with a pretty little object made with your own hands. A big thank you to this small team of enthusiasts.
This was such a fun time and a great break from the heat. Even if you are not an artist your piece will still come out beautiful
This was an awesome activity! Everyone was so nice and helpful! I really enjoyed learning about the history of Kinsugi.
It’s a great way to experience something different in Kyoto, especially during the summer. Taylor, our instructor, was friendly, fun, and made the whole experience enjoyable. She gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions and guided us through everything with patience, making it a memorable and relaxing activity. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience in Kyoto!
I had a wonderful time at the workshop. It was a really interesting and enjoyable experience. Taylor gave an excellent introduction to the history behind the craft, which made the workshop even more meaningful. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the whole process easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a unique and creative experience.

🥰🥰🥰🥰 it is a pleasant environment, their employees welcomed us very well and accompanied us throughout the entire process
Meri was kind and kind enough to teach me how to kintsugi. It was my first experience, but I had fun memories of a trip to Kyoto with my mother and daughter. I hope many people will have this wonderful experience.
