Kyoto Day Tour: Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama, Kinkaku-ji & Kiyomizu

Highly recommend this tour. It was a packed day with amazing places. Our tour guide, Kieran, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, friendly and had great insight.

We had the best time! Our guide was so friendly and gave us tons of interesting information along the way. Also I got to see all the places I probably would’ve missed if I had gone on my own. It was worth every second!

Until now, I have gone to Kyoto by train or car, but traveling was difficult and I often got lost, but with this first bus tour, I was very satisfied because I was able to see many famous spots in Kyoto all at once! Since the guide explained the sights in detail at each famous spot, I was able to deepen my understanding and enjoy the sightseeing. Since I was with children, I was worried if we could properly see the famous spots, but it was also very good that we could take a relaxing break on the bus during travel. The guide and the bus driver were both very kind, and it was a very fun day for the children and for us adults too! Thank you very much!! I participated this summer, but I would like to participate again because I also enjoy the scenery in other seasons, such as the autumn leaves, spring cherry blossoms, and the snowy winter.

We participated as a family. It was so much easier because the tour took us to the same places using public transportation, which would have been quite difficult in terms of time and cost if I had done it myself! Also, Key-chan, the guide from Australia, was so good at Japanese, full of jokes, and handsome, which was very healing ♪ The guide was full of trivia that even we Japanese didn't know, so we had a very educational and good day. Thank you!

Kiran was a great tour guide in spite of the fact that he was only covering his colleague. He was friendly and gave enough overview of the places we visited. He helped with picture taking and offered suggestions/recommendations for best spots to take pictures. He also offered places where to pick up snacks/coffee. The places visited were the "must-see" places for every Kyoto visitor. Just be prepared to put in your 15k+ steps!

All the attractions covered were beautiful. However the tour seemed rushed at the end. Not sufficient time given for all the temples and shrines . Felt rushed. Need to add more time to the tour to do full justice. Also it’s expected that everyone be able to follow the given map. Easy to get lost if you don’t have network coverage to scan the meeting points.

Our guide was in English, however, for a majority of the tour, she spoke in her native language and it would translate into English onto your phone. This is a great tool, the information was a little misleading and reading on a phone while on a moving bus can sometimes make people sick. Relaying this information prior to booking would have been helpful.

It was Japan on conveyor belt I had not been on a day tour before except when in the bus it was always a rush got lost in a crowd separated from tour group at bamboo forest just so may people but tour group very professional contacted me and I met up at the bus

It was a lot of fun. The guide was great and a good photographer.

Very good tour; they provided maps to follow the recommended routes to visit each place, and the guide Kieran was very willing to explain everything and answer questions. The time to be at each place is very short; I would have liked a little more.
