Koh Tao 2-Dive Day Trip from Koh Samui for certified divers

Everything is great, but quite expensive compared to other countries! Had a nice Austrian dive guide!

Very professional organisation, with safety first, good supervising and instruction, nice diving spots and explanations about what to see, underwater life. Very good diving instructor, good food on the boat, transfer from the hotel etc. Everything organized online directly with Discovery Dive Centre.

My daughter throughly enjoyed her diving trip, seeing moray eels, groupers, barracuda and felt safe. And a good lunch. My significant gripe was the disappointing way that the trip was booked. On the website, I was able to select which hotel we were staying at (apparently within their complimentary pick up zone) - it was clearly on the drop down list. I then paid a significant deposit for the trip. Some significant time later, after money changed hands, a message appeared advising me that there would be an additional 1500 Baht for transport to/ from the hotel. They did not back down when challenged. This naturally goes against all sorts of trade descriptions / consumer rights / laws. The outfit apologised for “confusion”, but the only confusion is the way that they seem unaware that they are duping people. We ended up funding taxis to within the revised pick up zone. Suggest be very careful booking… An alternative company, which we have had a very positive experience with, is 100 Degrees East.

General a good organisation of the trip. Staffs and necessary equipment in a really good condition nothing to complain!

I went on another couple of dives with Discovery Divers and had another great experience. They have the best equipment, great dive guides (Filip, Pierre and Nai) and you will have a great day and experience with them. Fantastic communication with timely hotel pick up, pre dive orientation and post dive review to keep your dive log book up to date. They take you to great dive sites. I will be back diving with them in December!

My son and I had truly great time with Tom, our Thai guide, who is a superb diver. The Discovery operation is relaxed and really friendly, yet truly professional. Highly recommended. A fast boat and good lunch. What's not to like.

Fantastic trip even if the water was a bit undulating. Lola was a fantastic instructor who exuded a really good mood and had a lot of patience.

We had Sami as our dive master today, and she was absolutely outstanding! She guided us to all the special spots in the coral reefs and showed us a variety of beautiful fish. She explained all the steps very carefully, making us feel at ease throughout the experience. We had an amazing time, and they also catered to our dietary needs. A special thanks to OT, who took fantastic pictures and sent us a video of our dives. Thank you, OT!

After my first diving experience in Phuket back in 2007, returning to the waters around Koh Samui was nothing short of amazing. We completed two dives with Discovery Divers and were so impressed that we immediately booked a Sail Rock dive trip with the same instructor. We felt incredibly lucky to have the entire boat to ourselves, along with just one other diver, which made for a truly personalized and relaxed outing. Our dive guide, Otilio, was professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at ease. A big shoutout also goes to Samira, the deck master, who was equally attentive and helpful throughout the trip. The quality of service, attention to safety, and the warmth of the staff are exactly why we booked another two dives. We hope to return one day for more underwater adventures. Huge credit to the entire Discovery Divers team and their management. Keep up the excellent work!

Despite the sullen weather (rain, current, waves), the exit was great. The organization is top, everything is planned, the meal is very good, the supervisors were very friendly and come from all walks of life. Serious and responsible center. I highly recommend it.
