Patan Durbar Square stands as symbolic monuments of old Newari tradition and culture. The Bagmati River divides the Patan from Kathmandu; but once upon the time, these were separate kingdoms. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the south Asia is a focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal and is one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. Here we can see monks and devotees circumnavigating the Stupa. The Stupa is located on the ancient trade route to Tibet where Tibetan merchants used to rest and offer prayers. It is one of the most popular religious sites in Kathmandu valley.

Syambhunath temple is full of rich symbolism and is one of the oldest religious sites in Nepal where you will have an incredible panoramic view of Kathmandu city. It is one of the holiest Buddhist chaityas in Nepal and it is said to have evolved spontaneously when the valley was created out of primordial lake more than 2000 years ago and now has numerous shrines and monasteries on its premises.
