Description
This trip is designed in such a way that it helps travelers to explore the local lifestyle of people in Kathmandu Valley including one of the most visited UNESCO enlisted heritage sites and the rest of all the equally interesting but less explored sites of Kathmandu & Bhaktapur city.
Boudhanath Stupa is one of the biggest Stupas in South Asia. The giant Stupa is a gateway to heaven serving as a horizon between the earth and sky. The eyes of Buddha painted on Stupa are diversely described as mysterious, impassive, empathy & shrewd. Nawatan Dham, a less explored site but rich in cultural value is a holy shrine of Hindus. Nagadesh is an old city in Bhaktapur that holds ancient values. Shankha Statue park is in the old city Patan, at the bank of Bagmati river. It is a peaceful & fun place to visit.
We make sure that who picks this short trip, will not only explore the sites but also learn the culture, lifestyle of people & other shades & sides of Kathmandu & Bhaktapur. Enjoy the trip!

Outstanding solo tour
Shiva brought me to visit Boudhanath Stupa, the largest shopping mall in Kathmandu, and the Bakhtapur Durbar Square. He also found multiple good rooftop cafes with good views over the Stupa and Durbar Square and restaurant that serve safe and clean food for an outstanding comfortable trip!

Five stars are not enough.
We were able to take a tour where we ultimately received more than was planned in advance. There were no additional costs or hidden fees. All our wishes were addressed before the tour. Shiva, our guide, speaks German very well, and we were able to discuss everything over the phone before the tour. Respect for this achievement, as such things are very rare. I can wholeheartedly recommend Sabbatical Explore Nepal. Five stars are not enough; he actually deserves double that. It's worth it!!!

Would visit again!
We recently booked our Nepal trip with Sabbatical Explorer, and the experience was fantastic. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we were warmly welcomed, and they helped us select the best package after discussing all our options in detail. We even compared a few alternatives in the market and felt confident we’d chosen the right provider.
What made this experience special was the personal touch they brought. They listened to our preferences, allowed us to explore each site at our own pace, and never rushed us, which was especially nice since I was traveling with my mother. It felt like we truly got to experience Nepal rather than just checking things off a list.
Thanks to their exceptional service, we had a memorable journey, and we’ll absolutely plan another trip with them in the future. Highly recommend Sabbatical Explorer!
