Enjoyed the excursion the whale watching was fun and our guide was knowledgeable. The salmon bake was delicious and the ambience was cute.
overall the whale watching experience was a good one, but the big let down was there simply was not enough room for the 40 people on board to get a good view every time the crew spotted whales. The big drawback was an upper deck which this boat lacked. Alot of other boats of the same size were equipped with an upper observation deck which gave everyone an opportunity to get a clear view of the whales without being crowded out. the small walkout deck on the stern was hardly enough to handle a third of the passengers. The naturalist and the skipper were awesome and just as friendly as could be. they listened to passengers when one of us spotted whales and kept in touch via radio with other boats in order to go where the "action" was... we did get to see humpbacks and Orcas in pretty large numbers, but again...crowded out by other people racing to grab premium spots like a "land grab"....lol
We had such a fun time whale watching with Captain Lee and Naturalist Autumn. She was so enthusiastic and clearly loves the work she does. She was super knowledgeable and we were able to spot a ton of whales! Captain Lee is so professional and takes his job very seriously as our captain. He made us all feel very safe.
We went on August 18th 2026, and our naturalist Autumn was learned, passionate and a consummate professional. She even tried to laugh at my George Costanza (Seinfeld) joke regarding marine biology.
Captain Claire and Naturalist Autumn were great for our whale watching adventure. Lots of good information and a few sketchy dad jokes mixed in. They knew where whales were, what they were doing, and relevant information that educated us all. They are passionate about marine life and it shows. 100% recommend!
The whale watching portion with Amanda and Matt was incredible. The whales didn’t breach but we did see a few. After that, the experience went downhill. Our van driver never showed up and we didn’t get to attend the salmon bake. We need a partial refund for five people!
The whale watching was excellent! Our naturalist and captain got us to see quite a bit of whales. Just so beautiful to be out on a sunny day! The salmon back was OK, was disappointed in the salmon. Did not like the very smokey taste. Liked the ribs better! Everything else was good.
Captain Matt and Autumn were the best tour guides! They were knowledgeable, entertaining, and enthusiastic! We were able to see several whales and learned a great deal about the species and the local area. Thank you.
Autumn was a great wildlife guide. She was very passionate, kind and knowledgeable about her Ecosystem. She provided lots of information about the whales and Orcas we saw. The captain was also very good at finding the animals for us to see. Bring your binoculars and don't forget to take pictures, which is what I did because I was so enthralled with the view. Plus a money back guarantee if you don't see whales pretty sweet. The waterfall was amazing at the Salmon bake buffet. The food was good too. I highly recommend taking this excursion you won't regret it. Holly from Florida
