Worth it!
The trail was wet ( rained the day before the hike)so a bit slippery, otherwise it was beautiful and a bit challenging which is what we needed! Ha also there was a water crossing just about 20 minutes in to the hike so be ready for that!

The ppl were supposed to include lunch They charged $50 dollars for meals that was $7pp ($28) never refunded what i was owed.
The lunch that was on the menu for $7 to 8 pp i was charged $50. I was basically robbed. It was a very challenging and dangerous hike. NATURE IS beautiful nonetheless. Most of the handrails are broken. Not guided at all. Very dangerous DO NOT EAT OR BUY OR INCLUDE FOOD...

Hello, I think your comment is a lie because lunch costs $12 per person, and you say $7.8 people at 7 dollars comes to $56, not $50 as you say. The walking tour plus lunch costs $32 per person; something doesn't add up here—I think you're just making that comment to cause trouble.Our website clearly states that the hike does not include a guide—only the horseback tour does—and if you went on the hike with us, you would have been told at reception that the hike does not include a guide.But I am going to report the comment because I believe it is false, or because you just want to cause trouble.

Loved it !!!
It was exactly as described, and we had a great time. The hike to the waterfall was challenging enough to make us truly appreciate the serenity of the view and the beauty of the waterfall when we arrived. Swimming in the pool felt like a hidden gem and made the whole experience even more special. It took us about three hours, but we did not hurry back because we really enjoyed spending time in the pool and at the waterfall. Otherwise, it would probably take 2:45

Worth the effort
A truly off-the-beaten-path experience, as you are on your own to navigate a steep decline and dense jungle to the waterfall. The map and signage are misleading, and do expect the descent to be a bit more than the suggested 900 meters. Do the waterfall before the pool, which will be a refreshing reward for your efforts. We’d recommend the site at least consider transport to the trailhead, as well as back again.

Hola nosotros te damos un mapa donde se le explica en la recepción detalladamente el recorrido. sobre el sendero a de los 900 metros la personas piensa que mas cuando vienen de regreso pero son 900 metros Debes tener en cuenta que hacer una caminata entre montaña tiene sus cosas. Recuerda hacer una caminata en montaña no es como caminar en un parque sabes que tienes que hacer un esfuerzo extra.

Best views
Definitely the best views you can get in Jaco Costa Rica, when you already get to the point of view in front of the giant waterfall. Recommended!

Bijagual Falls Costa Rica
The trip is hard on the way back up. However, the waterfalls and swimming in the pools is worth the effort and price. Be in decent shape and you’ll enjoy it

Definitely Costa Rica its a kingdom of fauna and flora biodiversity, we have been amazed by its gorgeous landscapes all this time in the country, and Bijagual Waterfall don't disappointed us, it is like a life fountain.

Amazing hike to spectacular waterfalls
We camped for 2 nights at their beautiful facility, amongst fruit trees and flowering bushes full of hummingbirds and butterflies. We saw toucans every morning at breakfast. We would highly recommend camping here. We were given the info we needed to take the hike on our own by the very courteous and helpful staff. As per the staff’s advice, we hiked to the waterfall first, and the swimming hole second. The view of the waterfall and the valley below were spectacular. The swim holes were a welcome relief from the heat of the hike, and beautiful in their own way. You can jump from the rock wall into the deep pools. We highly recommend this hike, and truly appreciated the congenial staff who made us feel at home.
