A great way to experience different parts of Quepos and surrounding areas. Our instructor Ken was patient and very knowledgeable. Spoke English well. The ending of the tour was at a beach. Very nice experience. Expect a workout. Felt like leg day.

This waterfall tour was a great experience for our family of four (two 50 year old adults, a 14 year old and an 8 year old). The tour involves stops at three different waterfall locations, lunch a a tilapia farm restaurant, and a beach stop with free time for swimming. Our guides Reese and Ishmael were outstanding. They were able to work with people of all skill levels to enjoy the experience. You do need to have moderate mobility for this activity because there is walking on rocks on some inclines, but our guides were fantastic about helping everyone navigate safely. They encouraged everyone to try the jumps but did not pressure you. If you don't want to jump or slide, you can enjoy wading and floating in the waterfall pools. During the drives between locations, our guides provided interesting information about Costa Rica and answered questions from the group. At the waterfalls, they also treated us to acrobatics shows by climbing up the rocks and doing flips into the pools. Clearly they love their country and their jobs!
We had an amazing experience on our all day waterfall adventure. I can't recommend them enough. From the moment we were picked up we knew we were in good hands. Not only was the waterfall aspect awesome but the things we learned along the way made it feel like a real Costa Rican excursion. Chris, Damien and Ken were phenomenal guides and made us all feel comfortable especially my two kids (11 and 14).
Our family's favorite tour of our Quepos trip! Great for our family of older boys (ages 16, 13, and 10). Our guides Ken, Mambo, and Alonzo were so encouraging and personable, but also kept us safe. Lorena took our pictures and they are worth it- buy the pictures. We went to three different waterfalls to jump in (moms, don't overthink it), then a delicious authentic lunch (chicken tenders offered for my 10-year-old), and then went to a beach and jumped in the large waves. Exhausted at the end, a day well-spent.
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Paddle 9 over two days, and I can’t recommend them enough! Our first day was at Manuel Antonio National Park with Cory, who was incredibly knowledgeable, relaxed, patient, kind, and right on time for pickup. We got lucky and saw so much wildlife, and Cory made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The next day, my 10-year-old daughter and I did the waterfall cliff-jumping tour, and it was unforgettable! We visited three different waterfalls with Alex, and Ken and Alonso. Our photographer was Lorena and our driver was Gummi. Everyone was wonderful, and their English was excellent. My daughter was nervous at first, but she ended up doing EVERY jump — including the 30-foot jump! The trails to some of the cliff were challenging, but the guides were with us every step of the way, making us feel incredibly safe. They were encouraging and patient while we waited for each jump and never pressured us. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Lorena. I normally don’t purchase tour photos because they can be so expensive, but she did such an amazing job that I couldn’t resist. She even captured videos and slowed down the jumps, which looked SO cool! They were absolutely worth it. The guides were also incredibly accommodating with our phones and cameras. They let us bring them along and kept them safely in dry bags between waterfalls. I’m pretty sure I asked for my phone in and out of that bag a thousand times, and they never once seemed annoyed — just patient and helpful every single time! One thing that really stood out to us was how much Paddle 9 cares about recycling, protecting the environment, and preserving Costa Rica. They also taught us a bit about Costa Rica in between each stop. You could tell how proud they were of their country and how much they genuinely care teaching about it and taking care of it. Most importantly, we felt completely safe, welcomed, and cared for the entire time. Everyone we met was genuinely kind and fun to be around. If you’re considering booking an adventure in Costa Rica, book with Paddle 9! My daughter and I had an incredible experience, and we would absolutely use them again. 🇨🇷❤️
Incredible experience! We were a family group of 13 traveling together age range 13-80. We had a wonderful group of guides: Alex, Reece, Mikey, Lorena and Gummy. They were knowledgeable, very helpful to my mom (80) and made the whole day outstanding for everyone! If you’re looking for a guided adventure I can’t recommend Paddle 9 highly enough.
Family friendly (private) tour. We enjoyed jumping and sliding from waterfalls, suitable for everyone. Our enthusiastic guides Alex and photographer Matt were a great team. We learned a lot of new details about Costa Rica. They made sure we were safe while doing the activities. Matt took nice videos and photos to keep as a memory. Highly recommend this tour!
Fabulous. Guides were amazing and kind. Kids should wear bright long sleeve water clothes to be seen.
Great day out. Staff were excellent and knowledgeable and looked after us. Lunch was lovely. Would highly recommend
Amazing experience. Maybe it would be good to have more kids life jackets. But the waterfalls were so much fun and beautiful. The lunch was lovely. The guides were kind, engaging and helpful.
