Pickup Locations & Times
The times listed on our tours are the pickup and drop-off times. To ensure guests can arrive on time for their tour we require a 45 minute window between a ship's arrival time and a tour's pickup time. Likewise, we require 45 minutes between the drop-off time and the ship's departure to make sure guests will be back before their all-aboard time. If you are arriving on a ship or staying at a hotel in downtown Juneau, you will meet outside, under the cables of the Goldbelt Mt. Roberts Tram (490 S Franklin St) at your pick-up time. Find a Coastal Representative dressed in bright orange holding a yellow sign that reads 'Coastal Helicopters' to be checked in. If you are staying at a hotel near the airport, you will be met by a Coastal Representative outside the main doors of the lobby. For guests who dock at AJ dock, you can call to request pickup at your dock - this will be scheduled automatically for the first tour after a ship's arrival. We will be contacting you regarding your pick-up details.

From start to finish our experience was outstanding! The shuttle operator was easy to locate once disembarking our ship, right on time we departed for the airport. Once at the airport we weighed in, got our boots and waited for our helicopter to arrive. We were whisked away on an absolutely stunning ride to the glacier. Our pilot, Tim, was friendly and informative. At the dog camp we were assigned a musher and a dog team. Abby, our musher, was excellent. She was so patient with answering our many questions. The adorable dogs loved being petted! We highly recommend this excursion!
Amazing from beginning to end! Our helicopter pilot, Jules, and dog guide alyssa were both so kind and answered all of our approximately 1000 questions. A truly unbelievable once in a lifetime experience.
Incredible experience in every way! Our first helicopter flight with an expert pilot who pointed out so much on the way to the glacier. The ride was so smooth. We got an amazing day weather wise and were able to see the Mendenhall peaks. Our musher Kendra was so friendly and informative and the dogs were so personable. A true once in a lifetime trip. Do it!
Unbelievable experience. It was so gorgeous, pictures do not do it justice. Pilot was awesome, she explained and pointed out everything. There is a lot of waiting time that is my only negative comment but the beauty outshined the negative.
So much fun! Lots of interaction with the dogs. Kendra our musher was super. Lots of stories about the dogs, their training, and the glacier.
This excursion was unforgettable - and the four of us have already discussed how we won’t ever be able to convey how amazing it was to people who weren’t there with us. The team at the camp was informative and wonderful - the dogs were so enthusiastic and from start to finish the experience was incredible. Highly recommend!
Awesome helicopter ride thru the mountains to the glacier. Views were phenomenal!! Dog sledding was fun.
They split our family of four (2 adults, 8 year old and 5 year old) into two separate helicopters. My younger one cried and slept in helicopter - not an experience I would expect after paying $800 per person. Wouldn’t recommend it traveling with kids. I had talked to them beforehand on call and confirmed that four of us would be together but they didn’t honor that.
Amazing helicopter ride with equally amazing dogsledding which takes us to a divine moments of the unique experience
Great outing, all of the people were fantastic and the dogs were amazing!!
