Description
Our signature flightseeing and glacier landing tour, includes 30 mins of flightseeing and 30 mins landed at 3 Glacier areas including on the glacier itself. This tour includes an alpine landing where you will have 30 mins to see the grand size of the 5 mile wide and 29 mile long Knik Glacier with a birds eye view. Your 2nd landing takes you to a 100 foot ice wall where you may even be able to see the massive ice calve . After 30 minutes exploring you go to the glacier landing right in the middle of Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring ancient ice. See the azure blue melt pools (summer), crevasses and ice formations created by water, wind and the sun. During your flight seeing, keep your eyes open for the area wildlife to include Moose, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Bears and even wolf on occasion! WINTER OCT-APR LANDING IS NOT ON GLACIER AS POOLS ARE FROZEN- LANDING IS NEXT TO GLACIER Total tour time - 2 hours, includes 3 landings

- CHECK IN is 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. If you arrive late, your tour may be shortened or rescheduled and additional cost may be applicable.
- WINTER TOURS - October - April -we are unable to land on top of the glacier due to snow cover. We will land next to the glaciers near the massive ice formations
- Guests 300lbs or over require our Astar Helicopter to fly. This is not available for every time/day.Please call direct to assure we have that helicopter available to accommodate prior to booking.
- Comfort surcharge applied for anyone over 250lbs. This allows us to block out an additional seat for safety and comfort
- NOT PERMITTED: DRONES-SMOKING ITEMS (VAPES/LIGHTERS/E-CIG)-FIREARMS-BAGS/BACKPACKS/LOOSE STRAPS - please leave all bags in the vehicle or we do have lockers to store them

My son and I went on the Grand Knik tour with three landings and WOW! We absolutely loved it! Dylan was our pilot and he was the best! Besides being a great pilot, he told us all about the glacier and surrounding area. During the landings he walked around with us and explained everything. He even showed us what wild berries to eat and of course we tried them. The last landing on the ice itself was an out of this world experience. We spent almost two weeks touring Alaska and this was by the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Alaska.
Amazing view, friendly pilot, great service, highly recommend. Make sure you book early on your trip, since weather may change so you have time to reschedule, because you don’t want to miss this.
We had the best experience with this company. The guide, Kory, went above and beyond to show us the best sites. Kory was kind, patient and compassionate with our quirky child. We saw wildlife, got to speed time on Knik glacier and stop at some other gorgeous sites. I highly recommend this tour company.

It was an incredible experience. Landings were very smooth. I really enjoyed it!! This coming from someone that doesn’t like roller coasters, drops or anything like that.
This helicopter tour is fantastic! Totally worth the money! Our pilot Wade/Wes (?) 🤔 was the best! He made sure our glacier adventure was special! I felt very safe the entire time. The glacier was spectacular. We also saw a bear and about 10 moose from the air on the way to and from the glacier. You fly low enough to see everything on the ground below you. Probably one of the best tours I have ever done. And I have done a lot!
Ryan was very professional, informational and safe and did a wonderful job allowing us to experience the amazing, breath-taking scenery! He even took us a bit out of the way to show us additional wildlife! It’s a must-do activity!!!

This was by far the best thing we did on our Alaska trip. While researching, I debated between doing one landing or three landings, but ultimately chose the tour with three landings and I'm so happy with my decision. I thought I'd enjoy the glacier landing best, but it was actually the second landing on top of the mountain that I loved the most. The views were spectacular and the space so serene and magical that for one brief moment, we truly felt like the only people on earth. If I'd have chosen only the glacier landing tour, I'd have missed out on the unmatched beauty that could only be found on that mountain top. Do yourself a favor and book the three landing tour. It's worth the money to experience something so surreal that none of my pictures could even do it justice. This company was very professional and check-in was a breeze. Our pilot, Aaron, was friendly and competent and made us feel safe the entire time.
