The narrator talked for 15 min before the tour even started and then took us to random spots on the streets & told non sensensical stories. He seemed like he was on something. There were too many people on the tour and we couldn't hear him half the time. I'd like a refund. I have been on several other haunted tours that were well done & interesting. This one was a disappointment
This does not sound like our tour at all. We do not use random spots or tell nonsensical stories. Our guides are professional actors who can easily project their voices for the group and certainly are not "on something". If it is indeed our tour, we will certainly provide a refund once we have heard the actor's side of the story. Just contact us!

This was literally the worst ghost tour I’ve ever been on. We did not even make it through a half hour; and, two other guests bailed at the same time. Short of our guide’s acting skills and the effort put into the costume and makeup, the stories were lame and had minimal to do with the ghost history of Montreal. Don’t waste your money! I could have told better ghost stories at a campfire!
I was disappointed by this "review" because it does not reflect our tour in any way. The 8 ghost stories are well-researched and put into historical context and have everything to do with Montreal's dark history. As for the actor you dissed, I spoke with him and he offered a very different story. He said that you were offended because the tour is critical of the church's role in the Canadian Genocide, something late Pope Francis has apologized for. Indeed, it seems your objection to our tour is based on an ideology that is incompatible with our values. However, given that you were unhappy that our tour was not Disneyesque, we will be happy to refund you. Just send us an email. Otherwise, Quebec has some wonderful campgrounds where you can attempt to tell "better ghost stories" around the campfire! I just hope that your listeners, if you can attract any, don't insult you in public and write 1-star reviews about your artistic efforts.
Our guide’s narrative had too much violent and gory content. So much emphasis on bloody heads being decapitated and scalped is unnecessary in a Haunted Tour. Telling our group which included young children that prisoners would have sex with whore is inappropriate. Not enough emphasis was put on the architecture we walked by nor its history. Our guide did not engage with the group and did not create a convivial atmosphere amongst us. He also walked fast between stations.
This is one of the most bizarre "reviews" I have ever read. As the creator of the tour, I can tell you that it is a ghost tour and not an architecture tour. We reject the idea of transforming our tour into a Disneyesque experience. We tell the history as it happened and do not whitewash or gloss over the colonial atrocities of the city's dark and genocidal past. There is also nothing in the text about prisoners having sex with "whores". In reality, it was the wardens taking advantage of the imprisoned sex workers. The tour is also extremely historical and contextualizes Montreal and its ghosts within the various eras, from precolonial to the present. Our website is also clear that there are very dark themes and history and that parents should take that into consideration before bringing young children. I will consult the guide to hear their side of the story and verify your allegations. Please contact us, and if the allegations prove to be true, we will certainly refund you.
This tour was a great mix of haunting and history. The guide was engaging. We learned a lot about the history of Montreal and got to see some of the landmarks

If you’re seeking history, this is it! While our guide was animated in her storytelling, it was more history than anything. Could have been a day time tour.
