Montreal like you’ve never experienced it before… A theatrical guide (a professional actor and storyteller) will regale guests with ghost stories, mysteries and legends about Mount Royal, including haunted hospitals, abandoned castles, cemeteries teeming with undead spirits, and all sorts of paranormal activities on the mountain. Visitors will learn about the place of Mount Royal in Montreal’s history and lore. Haunted Mountain aims to satisfy a taste for local history, spine-tingling ghost stories and an unforgettable ramble on the slopes of Mount Royal! Guests are advised that this walk involves some moderate walking up and down dark pathways and staircases on the mountain. It is not universally accessible. For the best experience, clients should wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a flashlight.

Always worth it
There are so Lamy good things to say about this company and their tours. We have done them ALL including the pub crawl and the newest colonial tour. This was our second time at Haunted Mountain and as always, Jason nailed it. His story telling skills coupled with the real history makes for a great evening. The ONLY recommendation I have is just for the Haunted mountain tour, it would be beneficial to put on the website that it’s a strenuous walking tour. It’s definitely a challenging hike for those less fit. We look forward to seeing more tours and doing the investigations at some point. Also having the storytellers at an event. Thanks again

I will also take your advice into account - tacking the haunted mountain is indeed a bit strenuous, especially as we get older! I used to practically prance up the mountain and after a decade now am sometimes out of breath! I will also be sure to FWD this to Jason, a great storyteller indeed! Fascinating and Well Organized!
The tour is well thought of, and although I've been living in Montreal for 25 years, I discovered new corners of Mount Royal I had never seen before! It's informative, fun, respectful of Montreal's history and cultures, and our host, Jason, did a fabulous job at guiding us. I warmly recommend! I liked that they were also stating their references, including paranormal researchers - it made even more intriguing! Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as there's a bit of a hike (no fancy sandals).

Fun tour
Very fun tour. A small theatrical hike onto the mountain, perfect for Halloween. Jason was great at storytelling, keeping it creepy and light-hearted as well. Plus, you get to learn a bunch of historical facts as a bonus. Great tour and very interested in the others.

Great visit
Whether you believe in the paranormal or not, the visit is very interesting, with lots of historical anecdotes. Our guide Dominique was visibly passionate about his subject, and knows how to communicate this passion well!

Fun little hike up the...
Fun little hike up the mountain that uses history and ghost stories at a few spots. Guide was entertaining despite the very small group. A little lack luster for what we were hoping for

Highly Recommended!
This was such a fun experience! The stories were captivating, I loved learning about the history of various locations on Mount Royal. It wasn't only about ghosts, there were so many historical facts! Walking on the mountain at night is an awesome experience on its own, I absolutely loved the ambience. The guide/storyteller was really entertaining, he definitely knew how to captivate his audience. I live in Montreal, this tour isn't only for tourists! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves spooky stories and history. I'll be checking out the other tours for sure!

A spooky history tour (5 stars)
The tour guide was engaging, funny, intelligent, and thoughtful. Not particularly scary but more of a spooky history tour, which was exactly what I wanted. The group was quite large and Jason (the tour guide) did an amazing job of keeping everyone engaged.

Amazing tour!

Fun and informative!
Lots of fun and very entertaining/informative. Would have been helpful to recommend to wear running shoes and to let them know there is lots of walking on rough terrain at times. Looking forward to another ghost walk in the future. Thanks again
