DISCLAIMER: Online tickets typically sell out months in advance but the Cultural Office in Aguas Calientes reserves 1000 tickets per day for in-person purchase. If online tickets are sold out, you will need to arrive very early in the morning the day BEFORE your tour to present your passport to reserve your ticket IN-PERSON. It is possible the ministry of culture will require arriving 2 days in advanced depending on how busy it is. Our team is in Aguas Calientes monitoring the situation and we will advise you on when you should arrive. We will keep you informed on your booking in case you need to change any hotel or train tickets. Your guide will meet you in Aguas Calientes and help you with this process.

Pickup Locations & Times
We will schedule the pickup based on your selected options for this tour. For the Car + Train option we can pickup in Cusco. For the train option we can assist with arriving to the train station in Ollantaytambo. If this is booked without any car/train option, the meeting will be coordinated in the town of Aguas Calientes. If no transportation add-on is selected, the meeting point for this tour is in Aguas Calientes. Passport information is required so we can reserve your entry ticket to the site. DISCLAIMER: Online tickets typically sell out months in advance but the Cultural Office in Aguas Calientes reserves 1000 tickets per day for in-person purchase. despite the MP entrance ticket being included in the price, we were informed, after the purchase, that the tickets were not available, and that the only solution was to wait in line at dawn the day before. Finally, the tickets were fortunately found, even if only two days before the tour date. Despite this inconvenience, we had a fantastic experience, especially thanks to the professionalism and friendliness of Percy, our guide, who was able to satisfy all our curiosities, dedicating all the necessary time to us to experience the magic of MP, without ever showing impatience, but rather appreciating the time spent together and making all his knowledge available.

Has such an amazing experience. The tour company managed to secure us tickets to circuit 3 with no need to arrive early in aguas calientes. On the day of the tour Juan Carlos met us at the bus stop and managed to get us up with no time waiting on lines. Once up Juan Carlos was an amazing tour guide - he thoroughly explained everything, had lots of patience for questions, and managed to get us to all the best points for pictures. 10/10 experience!!
This is a must do if you are visiting Peru! Our guide Percy was absolutely incredible - came to meet us at 5am at our hotel to walk us to the bus, navigated us seamlessly, answered all of our questions and was so passionate and knowledgeable about all things Machu Picchu and beyond! He was incredible and made the day incredible. Highly recommend booking and requesting Percy!
