Guided Ancient Ruins Tour

Excellent! Very informative guide, very fun amazing trip!

Well… what a fantastic trip. Ree was our guide and she was amazing. We went into the Honaki pueblos and she explained in a lively, knowledgeable and interesting way, the history , the meaning and the significance of the pueblos and the pictograms etc. we talked about Native American beliefs and the significance of the red rocks and the landscape. Whilst we were looking at one of the pueblos a tarantula crept out of a crevice… that was unexpected and frightening but as Ree said it helps with aversion therapy 😂😂…. The whole tour was great. Thank you Ree.

Our girls trip included plenty of adventures, but the Pink Jeep tour to the ancient Native American ruins was definitely one of the most memorable. We expected a history tour. What we didn't expect was laughing so hard that our mascara almost didn't survive the ride. First, let's talk about the Pink Jeep experience itself. The moment we left the pavement, it felt like we had signed up for a history lesson taught on a mechanical bull. Between the bumps, dips, and unexpected jolts, we were laughing, squealing, and hanging on for dear life while trying to keep our phones from flying into the next county. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. She was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, funny, and patient with a Jeep full of women - she had the unexpected challenge of 2 girls' trips on the first trip of the day. She shared fascinating stories about the ancient ruins and the people who once lived there, while also keeping us entertained the entire time. Honestly, she deserves a medal for managing the group and making it look effortless. The ruins themselves were incredible and gave us a new appreciation for the history and culture of the area. It was amazing to stand in a place that has existed for centuries while simultaneously trying to figure out which one of us was going to trip over a rock first. The scenery was beautiful, the off-road adventure was ridiculously fun, and our guide made the entire experience unforgettable. By the end of the tour, we had learned a little history, taken approximately 3,742 photos, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and accumulated enough Arizona dust to qualify as locals. If you're looking for an excursion that combines history, adventure, stunning views, and a few moments where you question whether your sports bra was the right choice for the terrain, this is the tour for you. Highly recommend, especially for a girls trip where making memories is just as important as taking pictures of them! 🚙💕🏜️📸😂👯‍♀️

Mid September is hot, dress accordingly, even though jeep has a top mid day sun can get to you from the open sides. Short uneven foot path brings you close to petroglyphs, fascinating background both geological, archeological and botanical provided by our guide Sara.

Short hike, but always take water and many pictures! Rick was knowledgeable, not only of the ruins but all of the wildlife and botany of the area

Tour of the ruins was amazing. Seth, the tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. Very happy with the experience.

Pink Jeep does the best job of all of them. Lots of experience and well travelled operators that cater to their group. We had David on this ride and he gave us a good tour of the ruins as well as explaining the flora and fauna of the area. Also spoke of the local restaurants since he was a native which helped us in our eating decisions.

Wildfire prevented from entering the ancient ruins unfortunately but we were rebooked on the broken arrow tour and that was a lot of fun. Off-road driving was fun and I enjoyed the viewpoints we stopped at. The driver was very skilled and friendly

This was an excellent tour and Shaun was the perfect guide. A must if you are in Sedona.

We booked this tour last minute after seeing all the jeeps around town. We wanted a 7AM tour and most were booked so we decided on this tour. We are so glad we did! This tour takes you farther out than any of the other tours. There is a short trail to get to the dwelling site which added to the fun! It was completely shaded when we went. The guide was fantastic and gave us plenty of time to view it and take pics. The scenery out and back is beautiful too! Mild off road/dirt road so no worries there! Highly recommend!
