Being the first people in the Cathedral in the morning was an unbeatable experience. We saw the lights turn on, enjoyed our tour guide as she talked about the art and interior of the church. The climb to the top was optional, and we decided to go halfway without issue. It was a small group in a very private setting, absolutely recommend.
The views and experience was amazing but Greta, our private tour guide made our morning exceptional. Her knowledge of Florence and Italian history was beyond impressive and her passion for teaching others about the city’s history was evident throughout our tour. She was truly fantastic!
The early tour is the best way to go. No lines and no other people in the cathedral. The view is spectacular once you get past the 463 steps!
It's an incredible experience to get the Duomo all to yourself. We had a wonderful guide and we learned so much about the cathedral, its construction, and Florence's history. Also getting to climb the Dome earlier than everyone else and having about 15 mins to ourselves up there was amazing. A truly unique way to see some of the greatest sights.

The tour was awesome. Not having to deal with the crowds was huge. It did start early-7am but got such great pics with no one there. The view from the top was amazing. Getting to see the frescos is close in the dome was also very cool. Highly recommend this tour.
