Our tour guide Alice was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the Cathedral but also the Cathedral Museum. She met us at our apartment and walked with us to ensure we did not get lost. A great tour! Only complaint would be in the booking… I believed that I had booked the Dome Climb. The booking language should be more clear: “Duomo tour with Dome Climb” and “Duomo tour without Dome Climb”… including “climb” in the language would prevent confusion.
You will not find a better guide than Barbara! She was very knowledgeable on historical details and injected wit and humor throughout the tour. She was warm and kind, and we felt like we had another sister with us. It was worth every penny!
A great way to see the Cathedral and the Duomo! Be prepared to climb 470 steps to the top. Our tour guide was very informative and took his time explaining all aspects of the art, culture and the history of Florence! Highly recommend this tour.
