It’s a rough ride. But the views are amazing. Very crowded at the top. Bring your professional camera. Lots of weddings up there.
Definitely not worth paying for to skip the line ticket . Get there early in the morning around 9am and get in for free . Cathedral is not spiritual and I was disappointed, compared to other beautiful cathedral’s in Europe .
Magnificent cathedral, a must-see
Great experience highly recommended. Very cool way to see the Duomo. Even though it's just skipped the line get there early so that you're not going to be caught in the heat
Please note - these tickets are not for the church. The church itself is FREE to enter, but you must get there EARLY because the lines are so long. These tickets are for the baptistry and the museum, which were both amazing to see! Just make sure you get your tickets BEFORE you go because we had to call this vendor and ask them send the tickets when we got there and that was quite frustrating. Good tickets, just make sure you get via What's App before.
Could not find the person to check in with even after asking a bunch of different people that worked for the Duomo, worked for other tour companies, or locals. Everyone looked at the provided info and sent me a different direction. I also clicked on the chat option and no one responded. Never found our check in point and never got in to the Duomo. Submitted a request for a refund but, of course, it was denied. Very disappointed! Don’t buy anything from this company!!!
We were staying in Rome and planned a day trip to Florence on 1 May 2026 specifically to visit the Duomo Cathedral. As Florence was only a day trip for us, we purchased four tickets through Booking.com in advance, selecting 1 May 2026 as the date of our visit. We paid €167.96 for the tickets as well as Fast Track access. The booking information stated that we would receive confirmation and/or information from the merchant via WhatsApp before our visit. On 30 April 2026, the merchant sent us a WhatsApp message expressly confirming: “We are pleased to confirm your reservation Duomo Complex tomorrow at 10am.” There can be no reasonable ambiguity as to the date intended by this message. “Tomorrow” was 1 May 2026, which was also the date printed on the tickets supplied to us. This correspondence demonstrates that the merchant was fully aware that our reservation was specifically for 1 May 2026 and that we intended to attend the Duomo Complex on that date at 10am. Problem encountered on 1 May 2026 When we arrived at the Duomo, we were informed that the main entrance to the Cathedral was closed on 1 May because it was a public holiday (Labour Day / Festa del Lavoro). We immediately contacted the merchant via WhatsApp to explain the situation. The merchant acknowledged that the front door of the Cathedral was closed on 1 May. We then asked the merchant where we should go and whether our Fast Track tickets could still be used. However, when we attempted to gain access, we were advised by staff/security that our Fast Track tickets were not valid for entry in the circumstances and that, if we wished to access the site, we would have to join the main queue as Fast Track Tickets are only valid on the front door to the Cathedral which was closed. Consequently, the principal benefit for which we had paid, the Fast Track access, was not available to us as represented. Bottom line was we didn’t get entry and merchant refused any refund. Shameful company
Very beautiful visit. We received our tickets from the representative on site. He was there at the appointed time. Bravo for the organization.
Excellent experience ! Good value for money as so much included
There are a LOT of stairs, but the views are so worth it! My 14 year old granddaughter had not problem with the climb and was happy at both levels we attained, although stood back from the rail when reached the very top. There was plenty of room to enjoy the views over Florence and beyond.
