Excellent for the price
Excellent tour with Giulio which took about an hour. It was a long line to get in but Giulio made it fun and very informative. Well worth the time and money to have some explanation of what you’re looking at.
This is not a “skip the line” tour, so you will wait with the rest of the people to get in, but you’re paying for the guide and it’s well worth the small fee.

Guide held her ground and didn't let others cut in line!
Guide was good and informational. She educated us on the building and the region while we waiting in the regular line with all the other guests to the Cathedral. The entrance to the Cathedral is FREE, so we only paid the $8.43 per person for this guide and not entry. She was assertive when some local Italian tried to cut in line in front of our group and said he was entitled to get in before people visiting from other countries because he is Italian. She told them this happens everyday, but not on her watch! Kudos to her and standing up for what is right!

Disappointment
Long line to get in. Disappointment with the interior. They did not allow us to enter the crypt and an audio guide failed us.
Operator response

Cathedral visited with a guide
You learn a lot about the exterior when you are inside the cathedral. Very interesting and educational. Also brought with a lot of humor by our nice young guide Julio! Thanks Julio for the beautiful story! You captivated us from beginning to end!

lovely tour
As expected! our guide was enthusiastic and shared a lot of interesting facts. The ticket gives you a timed slot in the line so you do still have to wait your turn to get in, but the time passed pleasantly because the guide was telling us about florence and the duomo. The duomo itself is a bit dull on the inside compared to other places, but the dome fresco is amazing and well worth it.

Long wait
Not good value for money you are as well just waiting in line independently it’s a lot less expensive the guide was basically telling you the history of the Duomo which you could Google then when you get in a very brief explanation and it ends queue was very long 1.5 hours
Operator response
The tour includes the services of a professional guide who explains the Duomo’s history, architecture and important details before and inside the Cathedral. As clearly stated in the product description, this is not a skip-the-line experience. All visitors must join the mandatory security line, whose duration is controlled by the Cathedral and can be especially long during busy periods.

I’d like a refund!
Our tour guide left us as we were 5 minutes late. It took us 15 minutes to find the exact spot to meet. Make sure you know the exact spot to meet your tour guide. There are multiple line and tours.
Operator response
We are sorry you missed the tour. The exact meeting-point address and instructions are clearly stated on the booking voucher, and guests are required to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. As you arrived after the tour had begun, the guide could not delay the entire group. We encourage all guests to check the meeting-point details in advance, as the Duomo area is very busy and hosts multiple tours.

Never again.
Very disappointed. We could not find our tour guide in the crowd. I called several times with no answer. Never found him or her. Called customer service and they disconnected me. Very disappointing. We bought new tickets and requested a refund and were denied. They said the tour guide tried to call me. I had zero missed calls.
Our second tour guide was amazing though. I will give them a great review.
Operator response
We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. Our records show that our representative was present at the designated meeting point and attempted to contact you using the phone number provided with the booking. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate or reach you at the scheduled time. For this reason, the refund request could not be approved. We nevertheless regret the communication difficulties and are pleased that your second tour was an excellent experience.
