Experience Montserrat is a tour that permits to visit the unique mountain of Montserrat in the heart of Catalonia. Duration of the tour: 5 hours from pick up time until drop off. Montserrat
Montserrat is a mountain in the middle of Catalonia. Known as the catalan holy mountain where you can find a monastery in the middle (700m above sea level). You will arrive by car at the monastery level, then you will have time to visit all abbacy and if you want take the funicular up to the hills (ticket fee not included).
Abadia De Montserrat
Visit the abbacy, the inside of the monastery rebuilt after the french war. Inside the monastery will be possible to see the BLACK MADONNA, our Lady of Montserrat, and patron Saint of Catalonia. Except saturdays and holiday periods you will enjoy the boy's choir singing live at 13.00h and 12.00 sundays.
Museu de Montserrat
If you like museums in Montserrat you will enjoy the museum of Montserrat, where a large collection of religious art, art nouveau pictures, and other ancient pieces will delight you.
Montserrat Mountains
All long the drive to Montserrat (about 50 minutes from Barcelona) you will enjoy the views of Montserrat from far away. You will discover the different shapes that takes it's picks which make Montserrat a magic mountain.
