The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. This incredible 4000-foot wonder is easily recognizable by its ''serrated'' top from which it got his name. Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.
Montserrat Basilica, located in the stunning Montserrat mountain range in Catalonia, Spain, is a revered site of pilgrimage and natural beauty. Known for housing the famous statue of the Black Madonna, La Moreneta, the basilica is a significant spiritual and cultural landmark. We had a wonderful morning at Montserrat! Alex was a terrific guide…very knowledgeable! He told us all about the history and gave us lots of options for our free time. The scenery was beautiful and visiting the basilica was so special. My only regret was that I didn’t get to see everything, so I will have to come back!
