Exhilarating 120km Aerial Tour of Toronto with iflyTOTO

"MO" was our pilot, he was so amazing. he gave us a very good experience, helped us get the right shots, excellent landing and take off, generally a warm and welcoming person. It was hard locating the place, better go early. we were offered a van to take us back to the airport terminal which was very thoughtful.

What a wonderful experience. I can't find a word to explain how friendly and helpful the staff are from the very warm welcome till the end of the tour. I recommend it to see it for everyone not only we as tourists. Thank you

I really enjoyed my flight over Toronto and the Niagara falls. Our pilot was great, and we were in safe hands. With that being said, I wanted to confirm a few other reviews. We were offered an upgrade of a private flight for an additional cost, and took it. We flew in a Seahawk II. To me, this was much more fun and felt more authentic but it's definitely not the same as some of the pictures so if you take that option and expect luxury you will be disappointed. Also the pilot can't talk to you during the flight, so nobody is pointing out landmarks to you. Again, this was fine with me (they're a pilot, not a tour guide), but if you are expecting commentary you will be disappointed. The building is difficult to find and no instructions are provided. Take the ferry to Billy Bishop airport and walk to the right hand side of the island (walk with the CN tower behind you, past the Maanjidowin sculpture). Walk until you reach a fence, then take a left and look for a building called "Porter FBO".

READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BOOKING IFLYTOTO I had planned this flight months in advance as a surprise for my partners birthday. Originally I had booked the group flight. When I inquired about the champagne advertised in the photo I was told that this was only offered on the private flights at an additional cost. They said the private plane was smaller but just as nice as the group plane. I initially declined but later decided to opt in and was told it would be $320 extra, which I paid in cash for the day of. When we arrived the pilot took my cash first then went to prepare the plane. When he returned we inquired about the champagne and were told that there was none in the hangar. We tried to contact someone from IFlyToTo and no one responded. The pilot suggested we just go for the flight and that we could resolve it after, so we did. Despite their lack of response to our calls before the flight, just before take off our pilot told us that IFlyTOTO texted him saying that they had run out of champagne the night before and that’s why there was none prepared for us. We received a call from IFlyTOTo mid flight which we obviously could not answer as the plane is incredibly loud. The plane is not at all as advertised ( see photos)- it was a very old model that was duct-tapped together with siding that was falling off, ripped and stained carpets and overall just old and dirty. A lot of things were broken. It looked nothing like the photos they use for booking. No talking headset is provided just noise cancelling headphones, so we couldn’t hear anything or talk to eachother during the flight. After our flight we called IFlyTOTO multiple times and got no response. Finally they picked up and when we asked for a refund for the lack of champagne and overall dissatisfaction of what we experienced vs what we expected from what was advertised- we were told that we shouldn’t have taken the ride and were offered $30; the value of the champagne. We were redirected to the manager and did not receive a call from them for about two hours at which point we called back and left a message saying we would escalate to a legal matter if needed- we received a call back within 10 minutes after that. The manager said that we were told the model of the plane when we booked so we should’ve known what it would look like ( we weren’t told the model of the smaller plane) and suggested that we were complaining just so we could get a free ride from them which was wildly offensive. The manager then said he would work on resolving this and asked for us to give him 3/4 days. We did not get any further response from the company and after a week of waiting to hear back, we disputed the charge. It wasn’t until after getting a refund via dispute that the company tried to call, and which point we didnt respond. I genuinely feel that this company is a scam. What they provide is not what they advertise at all. Their customer service is terrible. I would not recommend using this company at all.

Pilot, very friendly and very invested Very good contact with us The only point is that there were supplements for the fuel and also for an extra five-minute ride, we would have liked an all-inclusive price from the start. All-inclusive. But a nice experience.

Hello. Just following up on my potential refund to this experience. Following up on the situation I paid extra for a private flight from my initial booking . Got rescheduled to the following day due to apparent plane issues. Was communicated fairly that we’d be on a better experience for a longer tour, better plane ( no mention of group settings, I also mentioned this was a birthday event. So it definitely didn’t need an extra party ) The day of arrival before the experience right away was asked for money. We then were paired up with 2 other couples, one couple being served drinks because of their similar situation and the other couple including us left empty handed until something was mentioned. The plane operators were understanding and helpful which was good. The overall plane experience wasn't good at all. The plane had garbage in the back seats, plane barely had A/C it was soo hot and unbearable that we couldn’t even enjoy the views. I honestly have history with this company from doing a handful of tours from Groupon and the main but dealing with the agent behind this booking was the worse one. I honestly feel it was a money grab and a finesse on soo many levels. Out of my girlfriends whole birthday itinerary this was one of the negatives of my girlfriend’s birthday planning. Despite being very optimistic and positive at this. Im requesting for a refund immediately.

Pretty smooth experience. We paid 50$ more for private experience (total 400$ for 2) which was reasonable considering the nature of activity.

Very old and dirty planes, too expensive for the service. Also someone told me one of the planes had a problem with the landing gear and had to go around a couple of times before landing.

We were sold to make a rooftop in a private plane according to photos shown in a newer and larger plane and when we arrived they turned out with a mini plane for 2 people and also made us pay an additional 300 dollars for an older and smaller plane in bad condition inside. You do not receive the service they offer on the page.
