Flexibility to maximise customer satisfaction
Our guide Rajan Gurung and team of porters Sangay and Krishna helped my group to complete the challenging EBC and Kala Patthar hike with fun and joy despite the gruelling conditions. One of my friends was overwhelmed with altitude sickness and Sangay guided him at a lower pace while Rajan and Krishna continued with the rest of my group at a faster pace to complete the trek successfully. Commendable flexibility to try their best at customer satisfaction. We also changed the itinerary slightly based on the weather to maximise the chance to see the tallest point on Earth with absolutely clear blue skies. Rajan also managed to get a birthday cake to celebrate my friend's birthday at 3800m altitude. Bonus points to Rajan who takes beautiful photos and videos, even enduring the bitter cold to capture the alpine skyline in absolute darkness! Thank you!

Awesome views of the Himalayan mountains along the way
Awesome 12 days hiking Everest Base Camp experience with a hike up to Kala Patthar 5644m above sea level.
Thanks to our guide Rajan who suggested to do the hike up Kala Patthar on a clear afternoon (instead of the usual morning sunrise hike) with a superb view overlooking Mount Everest and Lhotse.
Not forgetting the wonderful porters (Sangay & Krishna) who helped carry our duffle bags all the way up to Gorakshep teahouse at 5164m above sea level!
Unforgettable experience and long walks through various terrains and views.

Good EBC hiking experience with the Glorious Himalaya company.
Booked a 14 days EBC trek at around 1600USD with room upgrades. Very friendly guide and porters. We were very well taken care of.
Shout-out to Rajan, Sangay and Krishna.
Some communication hiccups but nothing too serious.

Hire a carrier and a guide, ask the gods for good weather, look out for your eyes and enjoy 😇
Heavy, heavy, and heavy. I was used to climbing in the mountains in Europe, but this beat everything. From Lukla to Pangboche is only 1200 meters of altitude, but due to the 'hill up, hill down' effect, it was many more meters of altitude; oh, poor upper legs... In addition, the Nepalese weather gods were not in a good mood; on day 3 it started to rain and it lasted, raining like cats and dogs, for 3.5 days 😅 In Pangboche, it turned out that the rain there, in Dengboche and higher areas, had turned into snow, with 60 cm in EBC. Previous groups were stuck above in the hope of better weather. We have decided to go down given the remaining time. Too bad, but drying everything around a wood-burning stove every day is not everything either.
And now the highlights: the friendliest population; my western eyes watching the transport of everything and anything by donkeys, people, and yak-like creatures; how happy our tea house owner was with the apples we gave her; taking a detour back to Namche Bazar to an idyllic beautiful village on a plateau and staying overnight there; seeing our galaxy; seeing the sunrise on Everest at 6 in the morning with hot coffee in hand; the fairground attraction 'take off and land' in Lukla; how much fun we had with our Z-gen guide Razan Gurung.
Finally. Razan many thanks for all you have done for us going up and going down❤️. And last but not least, start doing something with photography professionally👊

Once in a lifetime EBC trek!
Glorious Himalaya Trekking provided excellent service and experience. Pre-trip, Ganesh promptly answered all of my enquiries thoroughly and he was available during the trek as needed. We enjoyed the pre-trek tour of Kathmandu with an excellent guide. Our trekking guide, Ganesh (no relation to Ganesh in Kathmandu) and our porter Yam were friendly, approachable with wealth of knowledge and provided excellent support, helping a couple of mid-60's yo Canadians reach our goal. Also, another guide, Krishna (spelling correct?) who was with us for 2 days was also great.
We booked a helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla, which turned out to be very helpful since the fixed wing flight was postponed the same day to the next day. We opted for the luxury package and all the tea houses with private in-room toilet/shower were clean with dining room offering good food (we selected vegetarian food only). The trek was challenging, especially the day we trekked to EBC. One option to consider is adding an extra night to spread the last day of trekking 20 km to Lukla into 2 days.
We certainly would recommend this tour company.

My #1 recommendation
We did this hike March 10 - 24 2026 and it was an incredible experience. Glorious Himalaya paired us with our amazing guide named Rajan. He spoke very good English loved every bit of the hike as much as we did. He had extensive knowledge of the mountains and shared it with us through the entire trek. He also ensured we stayed in the most comfortable accommodations, and seemed to know most of the proprietors personally. He’s also very good at cards, ask him to teach you some local games.
The weather at this time of year was great. Most mornings quickly warmed up and we could start the day with fewer layers on. About half the days ended with a light rain that had us eager to warm up at the lodgings.
The food was mostly the same through the trek, definitely recommend to listen to the guides suggestions on what to eat as the options become limited as you ascend.
Glorious Himalaya was very professional and ensured we were where we needed to be at the right time. I will go through this company again when I return to Nepal.

Wonderful, rewarding, challenging, life experience
We did the trek to EBC with our daughter and son-in-law in mid March. Our guide Rajan and two porters Guvan and his brother Deluve were the best. With their kind and helpful manners and their knowledge of the trek. They were all super encouraging and very positive. They were there for us every step of the way. We couldn’t have been in better hands.
Everything was planned out perfectly from the tea houses where we stayed to equipment needed for each days trek.
I would highly to Glorious Himalayas for anyone seeking to trek around Mt Everest
