Everest Base Camp Trek gives you an opportunity to visit some of the high-altitude destinations that only a handful of world’s population ever gets to visit. Following the footsteps of Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, trek along the foothills of Himalayan mountains including the world’s highest, Mount Everest (8,848 m). Stand beneath their massive shadows and feel humbled. En route experience Sherpa hospitality and culture, Buddhist spiritualism (the trails are adorned with mani stones, chortens and colorful prayer flags) and amazing mountain scenery.
NOTE: The Lukla flights to and from Kathmandu had been shifted to Manthali Airport, Ramechhap district in 2019 & 2020 due to heavy air traffic during peak trekking season (Mar, Apr, May, Oct, Nov). But, for now, the flights are directly between Kathmandu and Lukla. Extra cost would be applicable if airlines don't provide any shuttle services or if you want to take a private vehicle instead of the shared ride provided by the airlines.

My EBC Trip Experience with “ACE the Himalaya”
In this wonderful trip, I have been guided by “Sunil Ghale”, who have given me the right guidance in relation how to requirements of acclimatization, information about the path and information about the mountains surrounding My Everest.
Bikash and lopchan(potter), i am really impressed by their strength. They support me and always trying to make my trekking as easy as possible.
I would like to transfer my appreciation to the management team for good organization and the selection of hotels we stayed during the whole trip.
Thank you All

Recommend to anyone and everyone who reads this!
We had a fantastic trip. We went very early in the season (the first trek) and pretty much had the mountain to ourselves. It was incredibly well organised, with great accommodation. Sunil Ghale was our guide and he was very helpful with his advice about food choices, clothing and altitude sickness! I also appreciate how Sunil was on hand to video me proposing to my girlfriend in front of Everest - he really went above and beyond for us! Bikas and Lopchan were our porters and were very friendly and lugged around a lot of weight at high altitude! Bikas also took us up to Kalar Patthar for sunrise where we saw Everest in all its glory! All the staff at Ace the Himilayas made us feel safe and ensured the trip was seamless from start to finish. I would strongly recommend this trek to anyone and I hope you have the pleasure of going with our guide and porters.

The best trek with the best guide (Ram!)
I had a 10/10 star experience with ATH for the EBC in April 2026. The communication, help and follow through was exceptional from the moment I contacted them to learn more to the very end of the journey. This was by far the best trekking experience I’ve ever had and I’ve done many! The staff at ATH answered all my questions/concerns and even helped me rent a heated blanket at the different tea houses since I run cold and was worried about not being able to sleep. They organized a welcome/intro meeting with our small group of 5 and I immediately felt taken care of and comfortable to share anything that was on my mind (which was important since this was a solo trip for me). They made sure we had all the equipment and gear we needed (you can rent jackets and sleeping bags) and gave helpful tips on where to purchase gear in Kathmandu.
The star of the show though was our PHENOMENAL guide, Ram, and our incredibly helpful and kind porters. Ram is such a great guide - knows the EBC trail like the back of his hand, is well trained in altitude sickness management, and checks in with everyone individually every day to see how they’re feeling physically and mentally. He is the reason our whole group made it to Base Camp without any major issues! I’m so grateful for his help, his belief in us that we could make it, and his warmhearted and caring personality. I had a horrible headache one morning and was worried I was beginning to show symptoms of altitude sickness— and Ram gave me the best guidance on how to manage it and how to take care of myself. Because of his knowledge and experience, I was able to take care of the headache and continue on the trek. Ram truly goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is a 5 star one (it was 10 stars for me!), and will do anything he can to make that happen. You would be in the best hands if you are lucky enough to have Ram as a guide! I hope to return to Nepal soon and do the ABC with ATC and hopefully with Ram!

Blissful, with riders
Overall it was a really good experience. We were treated very well throughout. Our guide RAJ, the porters DEEPAK and SANJAY were really helpful and caring throughout the trek.
Not to mention the GM, SUJAN, very accommodating.
Just a suggestion, the company needs to be a bit more TRANSPARENT on the fly out part from Lukla during unfavourable weather, coz the real test of character is during adverse condition.

EBC in June
Another bucket list trek completed, thanks in part to Ace, our guide, Raj Neupane, and porters, Sanje and Deepak.
I met Raj nearly 9 years ago when he was my guide to Poon Hill. At the time he was with a different company, but my experience with him was great and we stayed in touch.
I purposely booked my trip to EBC a year out to secure Raj as my guide again; this time with Ace. He provided me with the email to Sujan, who provided all the booking details and information, which was efficient and easy.
The trip was wonderful, Raj took care of us throughout the entire adventure, even in our experience trying to get back to Kathmandu because the weather in Lukla was too bad to fly.
There might be cheaper packages out there, and I believe you get what you pay for, but Ace is professional, reputable, and my experience was worth the cost.
My wife and I are already thinking of our next trek in Nepal, and will be sure to secure Raj and use Ace again.
The trek itself isn’t too challenging, but requires a moderate level of fitness, in my opinion. It can be tough at times, but a growth mindset during the trek, and preparation beforehand definitely helps.
Views are wonderful and the experience was awesome. If you’re a trekker, EBC is a must do.
Thanks, Ace and everyone involved in our trip! See ya ext time.

Everest Base Camp Trek (6–20 June 2026) – An Unforgettable Journey with Raj N. (Our Guide), Sanjay & Dipak
My husband and I completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with Ace the Himalaya from 6–20 June 2026, and it became one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. A huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Raj N., and our porters, Sanjay and Dipak.
From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, everything was well organized. We were picked up at the airport and attended a pre-trip briefing. Since we were trekking during the monsoon season, the team explained weather-related risks and discussed backup transportation plans in case flights were affected. This gave us confidence before the journey even began.
Throughout the trek, Raj took exceptional care of us. He constantly checked on our well-being, reminded us to stay hydrated, monitored how we were sleeping, and provided practical advice to help us acclimatize safely. Every evening, he would check in on how we were feeling, discuss any issues, and brief us on the next day’s plan. We always felt supported, informed, and well prepared.
What impressed us most was how well Raj managed our group despite everyone’s different trekking speeds and abilities. Although we started as a group of two, two additional trekkers joined along the way. He ensured everyone received the support and guidance they needed, making sure nobody felt rushed and nobody felt left behind.
Beyond being an excellent guide, Raj was also great company. During acclimatization days and evenings at the tea houses, we shared many laughs and even played Uno together. His positive attitude made every day enjoyable, regardless of the weather or trekking challenges.
The true test came at the end of the trek when poor weather repeatedly delayed flights out of Lukla. Rather than simply waiting and hoping, Raj quickly arranged an alternative plan so we could catch our international flight home. We hiked to Surke, traveled by jeep to Salleri, and continued overland to Kathmandu. He openly discussed all available options, personally accompanied us throughout the journey, and remained calm and reassuring despite the long hours and difficult road conditions. Thanks to his planning and commitment, we arrived in Kathmandu with enough time to rest, repack, and comfortably make our flight home.
I would also like to thank Sanjay and Dipak. They were hardworking, kind, and always smiling despite carrying heavy loads throughout the trek. Their efforts played a huge role in making this journey successful and enjoyable.
Finally, thank you to Ace the Himalaya for running such a professional operation. Communication was excellent from the beginning, all of our questions were answered clearly, and we felt confident in our decision to book with them.
If you’re considering trekking to Everest Base Camp, I highly recommend Ace the Himalaya and, if you’re lucky enough to get him, Raj N. and his team. Their professionalism, care, and genuine hospitality made this journey truly unforgettable.
Best for: Couples, friends, families, and anyone looking for a well-organized, supportive, and personalized trekking experience.
Thank you, Raj, Sanjay, and Dipak, for helping make this an unforgettable adventure in the Himalayas. We hope to trek with you again someday! 🙏🏔️🇳🇵

Highly Recommended!
Trekking to Everest Base Camp with Ace the Himalaya and our guide, Maddy, was an unforgettable experience. I can't recommend this company enough.
Our group represented seven different nationalities, yet we bonded quickly and shared countless laughs throughout the journey. The trek was filled with incredible camaraderie, unforgettable moments, and some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen.
Maddy did an outstanding job keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed, always ready with a joke while ensuring we maintained a comfortable pace along the trail. One of the highlights was celebrating my birthday in Dingboche, where I was completely surprised with a cake, sparklers, and a wonderful introduction to local Himalayan traditions.
This was truly a bucket-list adventure, and I'll always remember it for the lasting positive impact it had on me. Thank you to Maddy and the entire Ace the Himalaya team for such an incredible experience.

Everest Base Camp trekking end of May/beginning of June
I had the most amazing trekking with Ace the Himalaya, especially thanks to our guide, Sushanta Neupane, who patiently guided us through the entire experience and our porter, dipak who safely carried our bags from one teahouse to another. Without both of them our trekking would not have been possible.
Even though we did the trekking during the end of May, meaning off-season, we got the best views, no people on the trek but just enough in the teahouses to socialise which was perfect.
About the administration, I especially appreciate that I was able to book the trekking on such a short notice, meaning ten days before start, without running into any problems.
From the booking till the farewell-dinner everything was perfectly organised and carried out.
Our guide always made sure and took his time to get us to a place where we surely make it to our destination, base camp, and beyond by also taking me to Kala Patthar which turned out to be close to my favourite thing about the trekking. But naming a one favourite experience would be impossible since there were so many.
Thank you again Sushanta, Dipak and Ace the Himalaya!
And shoutout to Filippo
