14-Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Kathmandu

Late September my wife and i completed the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Outfitter Himalaya Holiday's. Being my 3rd visit to the mountains of the Himalaya I consider this to be our best holiday to date. From the moment we landed Director Arjun had everything organised till the moment we departed 2 weeks later. The Kathmandu City tour with Ramesh was well worth it. The trail component with Guide Amrit and Porter Hari exceeded our expectations , around every corner was another postcard moment with both men sharing insights into their country and culture. These two would be the best guide and porter I have had the pleasure of being hosted by. The teahouses they chose and meals they helped prepare were were beyond our expectations. They were happy to move at a pace suitable for two 60 year old. With wifi at all teahouses the comms from Arjun back in Kathmandu to his staff on the trek were always consistent and very professional. The trail is a challenge with thousands of stairs but the views are well worth it, I would recommend doing some sort of training or trekking before leaving. All of the clothing can be found in Kathmandu or Pokhara the only thing I would definitely take would be good trail shoes or boots that are run in. Amrit and Hari were amazing hosts on the trail and all credit to us completing this walk goes to them both. I would recommend both of these 2 men as they would be the best I have met. Arjun runs a great business with top staff. We have decided to go back next winter to do the Nepal / Bhutan Highlights trip with Outfitter Himalaya Holidays as we now know the amazing staff and level of professionalism of Arjuns company. I had an amazing experience with our trekking guide, Raj and his assistant, Hari. We were very well looked after and they made sure to make our experience as comfortable as possible. Raj was very accommodating and even assisted with booking activities in Kathmandu and Pokhara, all of which included transportation to and from. Our porters Sujan, Anil, Bishal, Kalyan, and Bikram on the trek were also incredibly friendly and were a pleasure to speak with during the trek, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend booking with this company, and can't wait to return for our next trek in Nepal :)

From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, Outfitter Himalaya took care of everything. I felt relaxed and was able to enjoy my trek. It is well organised and the guides are very experienced (I had Ramesh and he was superb). The trek itself is a fantastic adventure and I highly recommend you choose Outfitter Himalaya for your next trek. Only point I would make is to perhaps avoid the monsoon season (July/August) since landslides are quite common and the views tend to be obstructed with fog. But apart from that, great experience.

I recently completed a 9-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with Outfitter Himalaya, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. A special thank you to our guide, Pralad, whose knowledge of the Annapurna region was outstanding. He shared fascinating information about the mountains, local culture, and trekking routes throughout the journey. More importantly, his constant encouragement and positive attitude helped me reach Annapurna Base Camp when the trek became challenging. His professionalism, patience, and genuine care for our group made a huge difference. I would also like to recognize our porter, Pradip. He worked incredibly hard every day, safely carrying our gear to each destination along the trek. Despite the demanding conditions, he was always cheerful, reliable, and helpful. It was inspiring to learn that he is training to become a guide, and I have no doubt he will be excellent in that role. The entire trek was well organized, and the support provided by Outfitter Himalaya allowed us to fully enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Annapurna Range. I highly recommend Outfitter Himalaya to anyone considering a trek in Nepal and would happily travel with them again.

These guys are so professional, thorough, and are great people- head office, guides, porters, everyone associated with them. This is my third trek with them (EBC, Gokyo Ri, Annapurna circuit) and I wouldnt use anyone else. The selected restaurants and accommodations are always good, the gear they provide is clean and excellent condition. I strongly suggest a private tour so you can be flexible with your itinerary. The additional cost is not much and the you can go at your own pace, subject to a full acclimatisation program.

Absolutely amazing. Very well organised by Arjun from Outfitter Himalaya. Almost perfect. Lovely bunch of people in tour guide and porters. Very thankful to all of them. Would absolutely trust and recommend Arjun and Outfitter Himalaya for another trip. Some things could be better like: .. Day 2 and first day down from ABC were just too long and very tiring, taking away from the fun experience, and didn't need to be. There is enough time/days, just needs better planning. .. Very little time spent at the top at ABC. Simply not enough to cherish and savour the moment. .. Dorm style shared accommodation was never mentioned at the time of booking. Even paid a high season surcharge - for what ? On the whole a fantastic experience, thanks.

I am a 72 year old male who completed EBC 3 years ago.I decided I wanted to do another Himalayan trek.My agent in Brisbane chose Outfit Himalaya for the job.I was amazed at the professionalism demonstrated by the owner Ajun ,the tour leader Bhim and the 2 porters (Horrie and Baralum).They ensured that I was considered in every aspect of group activity, as I was much older than other members.Bhim our tour leader was amazing always ensuring safety first followed by consideration and caring for everyone.He was the catalyst for providing the perfect trek.In concluding the route taken provided variety along the way.Accomodation was perfect for my tired body.The trek is achievable for young and old as long as you do some prior training.Outfit Himalaya us highly recommended.The cost of the trek was very affordable as breakfast lunch and dinner was included.

I had the pleasure of participating in the ABC trek at the start of April with a smaller group. Not only was the trek absolute magic, but the guide and porters who supported us all the way to and from the base camp were absolutely phenomenal. Overall this trek was one of the best things I've ever done.

Just finished amazing trek to ABC ..our guide Bhim was great, friendly, organised everything, and our 3 porters, Ramesh, Belaram and Bikram were awesome carrying our gear and great fun as well. We had a great group of 5 hikers, and Bhim and team made it a most memorable trip
