We are a small family owned surf school located at the beautiful beach of Samara. Our passion is teaching others how to surf and for our clients to truly improve their surfing skills while having the best time of their lives. Join us to catch some amazing waves with dreamy surroundings. We know the perfect little quiet surf-spot hidden away from the crowds. We are a fun international group of people that share the love of surfing. Our team of employees is all about the good life and we think that you are too. Our main goal is to make our students feel safe, welcomed and included while having fun in the water catching waves. We work with female instructors and the founder of the surf-school is a woman, we always seek to empower other women in the sport. We are fortunate enough to host guests from all over the world who come together to surf and enjoy our little piece of paradise. At Tuanis Surf School we have a great family vibe where you instantly will feel a sense of belonging.

I was specifically looking for a woman owned surf school, Sofie was so patient and knowledgeable. I take surf lessons on most of my travels and this by far was my favorite one. The ocean was perfect, waves were great for any level. 10/10
Tuanis Surf School is such an incredible surf school. Sofie made me feel safe and confident in the water and created a warm, welcoming environment centered around learning and having fun. It was with this environment that I was actually able to improve my surf skills! I would highly recommend Tuanis Surf School, the surf trip was truly one of the most incredible and memorable experiences.
Me and my friend booked a group lesson directly through Tuanis Surf School by writing to their Whatsapp. We thought we were gonna do it in a group with a bunch of other people, but no it was only us and the instructor Sofie. We were very positive about that! Sofie was absolutely amazing, both with communication but also in the water as a teacher. She made us very comfortable and gave great individual feedback throughout the lesson, to improve our surfing. This was our first time ever surfing, and we are 100% gonna do it again sometime soon :) We highly recommend Tuanis Surf School!!
Thank you so much for a brilliant family surf lesson! Sofie was fantastic with our 10 year old daughter who had never surfed before and was a little nervous. By the end of the lesson, she was consistently catching waves and she now loves surfing! Sofie has such a warm and welcoming manner, and really knows her stuff! Can’t recommend enough.
Fantastic surf lesson. Very good clear instruction. I had taken a surf lesson once before but didn’t get up. Javet gave perfect guidance and I successfully got up and surfed most of the lesson

We did surf lessons for 4 adults and 3 kids ages 6-10. We had an absolute blast. The team was great with kids, who were all first time surfers and caught wave after wave. Booking was easy and communication was great. Would highly recommend!
My daughters, 14 and 16, took surf lessons with Sofie. They learned to surf, loved Sofie, and are now hooked. Communication was great, on time, and I could not recommend it more. Overall a great experience!
This was our second year booking surf lessons with Sofie in Samara. She is easy to communicate with and answers questions in a timely fashion, lesson was great, both mom and son (9) had a great time. She was even able to recommend great local and not so touristy activities and restaurants. Overall a great experience with a genuinely nice person. We look forward to booking again next year when we are in town, who knows - we may even get grandma up on a board next year.
I came across this surf school on social media and I’m so happy that I did! It’s tucked away at the far end of gorgeous playa Samara. Sofie was very responsive and hooked me up with a 1.5 hr private lesson, for a reasonable cost. The instructor, Jafet, was even better. He gave me the basics on land and then we hit the water. Being at the far end, we weren’t contended with our people enjoying the water. He was so encouraging but just really friendly to talk to between catching waves. He gave tip or two through the lesson but let me find my way without micromanaging the experience! Highly recommend this school and instructor!
