My 13 year old, “If history was like this in school, I would never fall asleep!” We went on tour with Witch Juniper, who was vibrant and informative. We all found out which type of witch we were - which was a useful bonus.
Thank you so much for the fabulous review! This is so wonderful to hear from your 13 year old and certainly a great compliment for our guide, Witch Juniper. We are also delighted you found the tour both informative and engaging. We’d love to welcome you back on one of our tours again soon!

It's very interesting and our tour guide Gale was very knowledgeable about the subject matter, it did feel a little rushed though but might have been because we had to go through crowds to get from one point to another.
Thank you for your review, Rianne! We are really pleased you joined the Edinburgh Witches Tour and that Gale's storytelling and knowledge made it an interesting tour for you. We do truly apologise if the tour felt rushed at times. During the popular Fringe Festival, maneuvering through the crowds can sometimes be a challenge. We always try to keep our coven close and it is certainly not our intention to rush at any moment. We are sorry if this affected your overall experience. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you back again soon!
Great Tour! Gael was amazing!

Lovely. Heard wonderful stories while taking a walk. Juniper is an engaging story teller. Only thing is that Viator has to be more specific with the meet up location. There are like about a dozen tours meeting up at that same spot and that same hour. Called the tour office and the person who answered the phone guide me to the right group and stayed with me on the phone until I found them! Highly recommended.
The subject of the tour includes some unpleasant history, but it managed to be both informative and entertaining. It was light and fun but in a way that respected the subject and raised awareness to it. Our guide was excellent
She was very knowledgeable and good fun Also very patient with kids who came up to her because of her outfit
My friend and I both left feeling we had learned a lot and got everything we expected out of this tour and more! So much history packed into such a short time. Thanks to Gail, our guide, we learned a lot! Both of us felt he hit just the right balance of playfulness and passion for the subject. The tour created a wonderful witchy and historical atmosphere which was just what we were looking for, thanks Gail!
The tour guide was VERY funny and engaging! She told us several true stories that were very historically interesting about a disturbing time period in Scotland. I highly recommend this tour.
