Drums of the Pacific Lu'au

Everyone should experience a Luau!! What a great event that enable you to experience the Hawaiian culture and traditions. The fire dancing/show was all that! Food was really good. What a beautiful tropical atmosphere.

The female and male Dancers were really very good. The theme of the show also very good. The host past his prime and not a good singer. The show was long. The area nice and organized. The food just average. Overall maybe too expensive for the quality but the performers were great.

We had chosen the VIP package for 4 people, for nearly €1,000, thinking we would benefit from a privileged experience. What a disappointment! The VIP package notably advertised the seats closest to the stage and early entry with pre-show activities. However, we were placed in the 2nd row, at the end of the table, exactly in the same area as the standard-rate seats, with many heads in front of us. And we did not have any pre-show activities. Also advertised was a “Drums Luau” souvenir gift, which we did not receive! It is really a shame, because the show was good: good dancers and singers, magnificent costumes. The food is decent. In the end, we enjoyed the show but are very disappointed with the VIP service and the value for money. At nearly €1,000 for 4 people, we clearly expected an exceptional experience. If we had to do it over again, we certainly would not take the VIP package, and we think there must be better luaus in Hawaii for this price.

Very mediocre. Certainly not worth $250. Food was less than stellar. I've never seen a luau where people sat at tables. Very long and monotonous.

Lovely show, beautiful storytelling, dancing and live music. The food was delicious and there was plenty for everyone to enjoy and go for seconds. They brought out a child meal (chicken tenders and chips) for our 5 year old, which was great. The hospitality was incredible. Upon entry, you get to take a professional picture with the beach behind you. (We received 2 free prints because we purchased VIP) The dancers also stayed around after the show to take pictures with everyone. Highly recommended experience.

The show was colorful and lovely. The fresh fish was terrific, desserts not so much. Our waiter, Rick, was amazing and treated us like royalty!

Not a great experience for my family. Show had a very slow start… kids lost interest after an hour. The food was not good. The steak and chicken were inedible. I was so hoping this experience would be memorable for the family, and therefore worth the cost. We ended up leaving early and grabbing dinner on the walk home.

Wish we would have done the luau at the Sheraton. Don’t expect to get ahold of anyone in concierge if needed. And when you do, they’re rude. The dancing was good and food was good. It’s a big venue, I prefer smaller for this type of experience.

It was good, venue is nice. Need better information for handicap drop off Needs to have more interaction too much lag time between sets
