This was our first time doing one, and honestly, even though the food was good, the adults in our group didn’t feel like it was worth the price. We expected much more entertainment, especially with fire dancers. We had heard from family and friends about their experiences, where the entertainment was more interactive and took place out in the open rather than on a small stage. There was also only one person doing the fire dancing, which was disappointing. However, the kids( ayes 12, 13, annd 7 yrs old) absolutely loved it and thought it was one of the best things we did on our entire trip! They were completely entertained and excited by the experience, and seeing how much fun they were having definitely made it more enjoyable for us as adults. So, while we personally felt the experience could have offered more for the price, especially when it came to the entertainment, the kids’ excitement and enjoyment made it a memorable part of our trip. I think expectations probably play a big role, and if you’re going primarily for the kids, it may be well worth it. For us adults, though, we were expecting a bigger and more immersive experience based on what we had heard from others
The small venue and Locally ran event was awesome! We had so much fun and the service was amazing. If we had more time we would had gone again.
All our expectations were met with this luau! Fantastic food, friendly staff, great show. Kids loved it and I had a great time.
Overall we really enjoyed it. The show was really nice and the golf course made a beautiful backdrop. The sunset lit up the sky in an array of beautiful pinks. The story telling was excellent. The food and drinks were excellent, as well as our, attentive server. The disappointment for me was that I upgraded us to VIP and our group of four was placed in the center having a group of two on one side and three on another. The tables were very close together which made it impossible to watch the whole show. I could easily see the left corner but it was difficult to see anything other than that because I couldn't push my chair back to turn. Then at the end when they do the fire, they had all the VIP tables move back to chairs facing the stage which would have been great if there were enough chairs. We ended up standing in the very back which was really disappointing after paying to upgrade our tickets.
This Luau was the best I have ever attended by far. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and up beat, and the hula was amazing. The intimacy of the experience was great because the setting is small and there were many fewer people than any other Luau I have been to. I highly recommend this for those with elderly guests because you can easily hear everything and see all the action easily.
What fun! Very good storytelling and the dancing was awesome. The food was absolutely delicious and they didn’t skimp on variety either. The cherry on the top was the fire show!! I highly recommend this luau. FUN.
The dancers were amazing, as we're servers. Food okay. It was the best price on island for a family budget.
Beautiful experience, very talented dancers and musicians and a very engaging show also thanks to the presenter. Very good buffet and also the cocktails included in the package. Highly recommended!
Did some research online reading a lot of media. Determined even though it wasn’t on the water the show still gave a huge Cultural experience without the sea. VIP seating isn’t worth the extra money. We did lowest general admission and had the best seats in the house. At $100 cheaper. Drinks were just about perfect. Not too much or too little alcohol. Food was absolutely the best we have had in the island so far. I’d recommend a great Hawaiian experience and learn their culture.
We loved the photographers! Marcelo was so kind and thoughtful when it came to the photos. Great job & great quality photos !!
