Walking Tour: Quebec Differently
This walking tour was a nice way to get an overview of the city and history. Guy, our guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and accommodating. NOTE: We did this tour on our first day in Quebec. Our hotel was in lower Quebec, and we met the tour in upper Quebec. Guy told us it was a 15-minute walk which took us about 40 minutes and included the steep hill climb followed by a set of steep stairs, which I wasn't ready for!! Suggest you take a taxi, the Funicular, or the bus if this is your situation!

I apologize for this long walk you had to do to join this tour. When I write distance or time to walk, I'm using the App Plans on iPhone. These Apps consider average walkers and the shortest distance. I realize when I met you that walking up a hill did not correspond to your condition. So, I'm sorry for this mistake.
I did that tour on a different path that day to finish at the park in Old Quebec where we had the best view on the Snowbirds jet plane of Canada. I hope you appreciated the view on this air show in august.
The guide was very...
The guide was very knowledgeable about many aspects of both Quebec and Canada. He made suggestions on how to make the most out of our visit to Canada and was a great conversationalist.

Thank you for your kind comment Nagel. I hope you will come back to visit us in Quebec, Canada.
You came at the beginning of the season. Think that up to mid-octobre we have a nice weather in Quebec.
Fun and informative .
Our guide Guy was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I feel like I really got to know about the history of the city and also many fun facts that we would have never known. During the tour he ran into some acquaintances who were also able to share personal anecdotes. We had a great time. I highly recommend this tour with Guy.

Irene and Richard,
Thank you for your very kind comment about my visit with you in Old Quebec. It’s a pleasure for me to meet back my friends in town when the spring’s nice weather comes back. I’m glad to know that you’ve also visit the Ste-Anne Basilica on la Cote-de-Beaupre.
I hope you will come back at Quebec with friends or family.
Guy
