Loved this tour. Sam was very informative, funny & engaging. The payment is tip-based, if you can afford to be holidaying in Quebec City you can afford to pay a decent amount for this quality 2 hour walking tour - I cringed at the people paying only $5 :( Google similar tours to get an idea of appropriate value.
A great tour, lots of helpful advice and knowledge about the city from a friendly guy!
We greatly enjoyed our walking tour with Sam and found it to be an interesting introduction to the city. I would highly suggest a tour early on in your trip as he provides numerous suggestions of where to explore and eat that you likely would not discover on your own, a bonus on top of the tour itself. He was engaging, funny, and personable, and I appreciated that he starts the tour at its highest elevation and works downhill, making it friendlier to walk for all ages (he even tells you multiple ways to get back to the starting point once the tour ends). It was our first ever walking tour and Sam set a high standard. Thanks again, Sam!
I have been on a number of free city tours all over the world. This is by far the best. Samuel was very informative and relaxed and was quite humorous when appropriate. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Quebec city as a good way to get oriented.

Awesome Guide. Gave us tonnes of info and took us places we wouldn't have seen.
Our tour guide Sam was excellent! He explained the history in a very interesting and easy-to-understand way and shared lots of fascinating details along the way. He also pointed out great places to visit after the tour and the best spots to take pictures. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!
