Corfu Shore Excursion : Paleokastritsa, Corfu Town & Beach Break

We booked this half-day excursion because we were traveling with our family and wanted to see more of Corfu without spending the entire day away from the ship. The timing worked really well for us. Paleokastritsa was definitely the highlight. The scenery around the village and coastline was beautiful, and we had enough time to enjoy the area without feeling like we were constantly rushing. We also chose to do the optional boat ride into the caves, which was a fun addition for our family. Seeing the coastline and caves from the water gave us a completely different perspective. Afterward, we continued toward Corfu Town and enjoyed walking around the smaller streets and taking in the atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, and the pickup and return arrangements were convenient for cruise passengers. Having the excursion organized around the ship's schedule made the day much easier. Our guide was friendly and gave us useful information about the places we were seeing without overwhelming us with too many facts. For a first visit to Corfu, this was a really enjoyable way to get an introduction to the island.

Both Paleokastritsa and Old town were the highlights of our tour. I think this tour works well whether you're traveling as a couple, with friends or as a family because there's a bit of everything. Only one thing could be improved that'll be time allocation, having a bit more free time will be appreciated.

It was a pleasant way to spend a cruise stop and gave our family a combination of beaches, coastline, caves, and historic streets without making the day exhausting.
