Corfu for Cruise Ships: 6 Hour Tour with Boat Ride or Beach Visit

Description
With a specially designed itinerary for cruise passengers, this tour offers smooth pickup and drop-off at the port. Discover Corfu’s top highlights, relax on a scenic beach or take a coastline boat tour. Your first stop is Paleokastritsa, known for its crystal-clear waters and dramatic cliffs. You can join a 45-minute wooden boat tour (sea cave entry depends on weather and cave accessibility) or enjoy free time on the beach. Next, visit the 13th-century Monastery of Paleokastritsa, set on a hill with beautiful views. Your guide will share key stories about its history. Please note that access may involve a short 15-minute uphill walk if vehicles cannot reach the top. You’ll then continue to Corfu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided walk through its narrow streets, followed by about an hour of free time to shop, explore, or try local Greek dishes. At the end of the tour, we’ll return you to your cruise ship with plenty of time to spare and lasting memories of Corfu.

Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup at the port, where you'll meet your professional, English-speaking guide. Then, you'll board a modern, air-conditioned bus for a comfortable journey ahead.
Your excursion begins with a scenic drive to Paleokastritsa, one of Corfu’s most famous coastal gems. Known for its vibrant turquoise waters, towering cliffs, and lush natural scenery, this area offers stunning viewpoints and a calm setting ideal for both exploration and relaxation. When reserving your tour, you can opt for a 45-minute cruise on a traditional wooden boat. This ride follows the picturesque shoreline and, when weather and boat size allow, includes entry into the sea caves—a memorable moment and a great chance to capture beautiful photos. If a slower pace is more your style, you’re welcome to spend your time on the beach instead. Take a swim in the clear water, relax on the sand, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere. No matter which option you select, Paleokastritsa provides a beautiful and unforgettable beginning to your Corfu adventure.
Next, you’ll head to the Monastery of Paleokastritsa, a 13th-century Byzantine landmark set high above the coastline. From its hilltop location, you’ll enjoy impressive sea views while your guide explains the monastery’s history and the stories connected to this peaceful site. Please note that if vehicle access is restricted, reaching the monastery may involve a brief 15-minute uphill walk.
Afterward, you’ll make your way to Corfu Town, the island’s historic heart and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its narrow cobblestone lanes, Venetian-style buildings, and lively squares, the town features iconic sights such as the Old Fortress and the Liston Promenade. You’ll enjoy a guided walk followed by about an hour of free time to explore on your own. You can try local dishes at a traditional taverna, browse shops for souvenirs like olive-oil products or kumquat liqueur, or simply wander through the charming streets. Combining centuries of history with everyday island life, Corfu Town has something for everyone.
At the end of your adventure, you'll be returned to your cruise ship on time, ensuring a smooth and stress-free departure. You'll leave with unforgettable memories of Corfu.

What a great tour! Our guide, Evalia, was so informative and helpful. We got to see a monastery, take a boat ride around the coastline in Palaiokastritsa, and explore Old Corfu Town. Tour is perfect for cruise ships. Pickup is on pier with bus right next to cruise excursion bus. Definitely feel free to book if you are on a cruise.

A great tour- with something for everyone! Our guide was great… and told us lots of stories! The beach was lovely and warm, just be mindful of the pebbles! Corfu - the old town is a great place to wander! Got us back to the ship with plenty of time!
There was some confusion about the length of the tour. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Driver had to return as one of our children left his cell phone in the vehicle.
Hello Joseph, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify that your booking was for the option “Private 4.5h Tour with Driver,” which includes a 4.5-hour private tour with a driver only (without a separate guide). We are glad to hear that overall you had a pleasant experience. We also understand that the situation with the forgotten phone caused some confusion and inconvenience. We always do our best to assist our guests in these situations, although returning lost belongings can be particularly challenging for cruise passengers due to strict ship schedules and departure times. As a reminder for future travels, we kindly recommend always checking the vehicle and taking all personal belongings with you before leaving, especially when traveling on a cruise. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you again in the future. Warm regards, Natalia Vexperio
