From there, enjoy cruising along the Algarve’s spectacular coastline. First, we’ll head offshore in search of dolphins, free, wild, and playful in their natural habitat. Keep your eyes on the horizon as we glide across the open sea. On selected departures, a marine biologist shares fascinating insights into dolphin behaviour and the Algarve’s marine ecosystem. Next, we’ll head back toward the coast to explore the iconic Benagil Caves. Along the way, you’ll pass stunning grottos, golden cliffs, natural arches, and unique rock formations. Set out on an unforgettable search for dolphins in their natural habitat. With the help of our experienced skippers and spotters, we navigate the Atlantic in high-speed, covering large areas to increase our chances of finding these incredible animals. While sightings are not guaranteed — as the dolphins are truly wild and free — we maintain a high success rate, respecting all marine life and following responsible observation guidelines. Along the way, our crew will share curious facts about the different species of dolphins commonly seen off the Algarve coast and the rich marine biodiversity of our waters. It’s a thrilling and respectful encounter with nature at its most spontaneous.

It was a great time! I had read reviews that someone hadn’t seen dolphins (can happen) and was a little nervous as my daughter was really looking forward to it but we lucked out and saw a family of 3 right up close. Was incredible! The caves were very cool to witness as well! FYI the front of the boat can really bounce when hitting some waves - was enjoyed by myself and my thrill seeking daughter. My young son didn’t, he was a little scared but rode back in the seating area and enjoyed the ride. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. Would recommend!!

Despite the fact that the weather was not so good the day we went on this trip, we enjoyed it!! It all goes very smoothly, when you have signed up, you are then called to go with the guide of the boat.Once on the you get a good explanation, there again.asked if you have no health problems, back, pregnant.The drill goes quite hard.We enjoyed it.And if you got seasick, you had to raise your hand, then they did have a trick.Super nice staff. The dolphins couldn't guarantee them, but wow, they were there, in large numbers. The visit to the cave was also top! So absolutely recommended!

Great tour, we saw many dolphins, Benagil cave and beautiful Algarve coastline. Crew provided interesting commentary and offered to take pictures. The seats on the boat were comfortable.

Fabulous 2.5 hrs We booked in the hope of seeing the Caved and Dolphins . Instead we saw a rare sighting oh Orca whales which was amazing

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The staff were lovely and shared lots of interesting information about the dolphins and the surrounding area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see loads of dolphins, and it was great to see the boat operators keeping a respectful distance and giving them plenty of space so they weren’t disturbed. 🐬💙 The Benagil Caves were beautiful too, and the whole experience was definitely well worth it. Highly recommended! 🌊

It was an amazing tour. Be aware to have a light jacket or a houdie, it get's reeeeaaaally chilly and windy when the boat is gettin in and out of the harbor. There is no getting in the water or on the sand, so you don't need flipflops

Our family really enjoyed this boat trip during our recent trip to Lagos. We saw dolphins swim alongside the boat and enjoyed the cave visits, and also sightseeing along the coastline on our journey back. We would thoroughly recommend this tour when visiting this area of the Algarve.
