TERRIBLE
This tour was offered by the concierge at our hotel. We wanted a guided tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The tour was sold with a noon start time. We arrived at 11:45 am and were told that the tour was "guided" but did not include a guide (?), only an App that you had to download. Since it was sold as guided, we had no earphones to listen to the App and were forced to cross the street and buy them. That was only the beginning of the mess. We were taken to the starting point at the Forum and given tickets to enter the Colosseum. That is when we were told that the entrance to the Colosseum was at 3:00 pm!!! We were sold a noon tour and were expected to keep ourselves busy until 3:00 pm. There were people in our group that were very upset because they had reserved tours at the Vatican at 4:00 pm and now they were not going to make it. To make matters worse, their App is worthless. It does not track your location so when we entered the Forum, we had to search their map, figure out where we were on that map and press numbers that mark points of interest-of course, the numbers on their map are different from the numbers located at the site so it was more of a scavenger hunt prank than a learning experience, making it literally impossible to follow. It was so awful and confusing, we ditched it within 5 minutes and just looked at the amazing artifacts but learned absolutely nothing. When we finally entered the Colosseum, the APP provided a 30 second introduction and that was that-30 seconds is all they had to say about the Colosseum!!!!! Really???? Thankfully, the Colosseum has its own free App that was excellent . In closing, we enjoyed our visit DESPITE TOURISTATION. Beware of their tour descriptions and note that they provide most of the details in an email that they send only AFTER you have paid. We were frustrated and felt cheated, as did several other members of our small group.

TOP experience!
EVERYTHING perfect, from the management of the reservation in the previous days to the organization on the day of the tour. All the staff very kind, welcoming and ready to provide all the useful information for visiting the monuments. Very nice (and not obvious) also the initial part of watching the video introduction to the experience. We will definitely rely on them again for future Roman tours!

A great tour in Rome
An excellent tour - very informative, comprehensive and interesting. Our guide was exceptionally good. And the tour was the full three hours. Highly recommended to see the Forum and experience the colosseum while avoiding long lineups. Very fair value, too.

Disgusting customer serivce. Canceled our booking 5 days out from tour
Getyourguide booking: I booked a colosseum tour at the end of July they have today messaged (5 days out from the tour) to say they have overbooked and we can't do the tour anymore. They won't move us to another date and won't compensate us to cover the extra cost it will now be to book a tour this close to the tour. They also will not give us an explanation as to why we are only being told now when the booking was made months ago. Just a copy and paste response they've sent me multiple times. This has ruined our trip as the one thing we were looking forward to seeing in Rome was the colosseum and now can't afford the cost of booking a new tour this close. I can't leave any feedback on them on getyourguide as they have canceled the booking, which is so frustrating.
