Great to see the different parts of Zurich - electric bikes were brilliant and essential for the hills in hot weather. Would have liked a little more history from our guide but she was lovely.

Great way to tour many parts of the city, while also learning about the history and current offerings of Zurich! Our our guide, Robin, was knowledgeable, encouraging & helpful to all of us as we were navigating this new city!
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We’re delighted that the tour allowed you to experience Zurich’s different areas and that your tour guide was able to share so many interesting insights along the way. Kind regards, Stephanie Zürich Tourism
The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. The bikes were in good shape. She took us to beautiful places in Zurich.
Had a great time - the bikes were really good and even though we did some decent hills it was no problem at all. I wouldn’t suggest this ride to be for someone not reasonably confident in cycling as you’re among the traffic at times, although plenty of bike lanes and not busy. Guide was good - shared interesting facts and kept it interesting.
Grüezi Thank you very much for your feedback on the e-bike tour. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the experience and discovered some interesting insights about Zurich. 😊 Best regards, Stephanie Zürich Tourism
We had a great time on this e-bike tour with Nicole. She had great energy, and you could tell she really loves her city. We saw the most important sites of the city and got a lot of interesting, succinct information. (More than our Old town walking tour we had done before!). Most of all, we had fun going “turbo” speed up and down the streets of Zurich. It was one of our top memories from our Switzerland week!
Grüezi Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!😊 We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Nicole. It makes us especially happy to hear that the tour was one of the highlights of your visit to Switzerland and that you were able to take home such great memories. Wishing you all the best, Stephanie Zürich Tourism
To start with, I am a VERY experienced cyclist (multiple century rides, multiple one-day 150+ mile cycling courses completed, one 200-mile course completed in one day, etc), but those experiences were completed using light, responsive carbon fiber road bikes on open road courses. This experience is not that! This was riding on e-bikes that weighed probably 80 pounds, through heavy city afternoon rush-hour traffic, with little to know practice prep time for those of us who have never ridden e-bikes. Why not make this ride earlier on the day to avoid heavy traffic?! We received a short explanation of the bikes and then our "practice" consisted of riding up the parking garage ramp to street level before mixing it up with heavy car, bike, tram, pedestrian, dog, stroller, and tourist traffic. Since we were riding in a line, I stayed at the back because I was feeling very uncertain and unsafe on my bike and I didn't want to put anyone else in our group in jeopardy. There was a super brand new guide behind me who evidenced her own challenges with managing her own bike. Since I was at the back, other cyclists or cars would cut some us of from the group by riding through our line of participants, causing us to be cut off from the group and thus requiring us to play catch-up, while still trying to get accustomed to these heavy, unwieldy bikes. I finally had enough and started to feel so unsafe when it started to rain, that I asked if the new guide could take me back early. She did, with my husband coming back with us, but on one occasion stopped to ask us if we remembered the way we had come. What?!!! To make matters worse, when we requested a refund for this experience from Viator, through whom we had booked this experience, due to feeling ill-prepared and unsafe, they refused to do so. When I tried to reach out to the e-bike vendor directly through the Viator app, twice, I wasn't even given the civilty of a returned message. My recommendation... Do this experience only if you are very familiar with big city rush-hour traffic, and only if you are comfortable with heavy drop-tube style e-bikes. Otherwise, you may be in for 2.5 hours of very scary riding and/or putting yourself at risk for accident or injury. Oh, and if you have a bad experience, just know that your money is clearly more important to this vendor than your satisfaction or your sense of wellbeing.
Grüezi Thank you very much for your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that the tour was not a positive experience for you and that you didn’t feel safe enough in Zurich’s traffic to complete it. To help guests assess their comfort level with the e-bikes, we also include a short test ride in the parking garage before entering the city. Our guides are instructed to support participants and, if necessary, to inform them when they feel someone may not be ready for riding in city traffic. Of course, we completely understand if someone still chooses not to continue the tour due to safety concerns. In such cases, we always try to offer a suitable alternative, in your case, the return with one of our team members, or the option to return independently by public transport. However, once the tour has started, a refund is no longer possible. Thank you for your understanding. We also sincerely apologize for the lack of response to your messages via the Viator platform. This was not intentional, and unfortunately, your message slipped through. We apologize for this oversight. Should you have any further questions or concerns, we are happy to assist you. You can also reach us directly by phone at +41 44 215 40 00. We wish you all the best, Stephanie Zürich Tourism
Excellent tour. Our guide Nicole was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and kept the group together and moving. The bikes great and easy to use. We did the tour on Sunday so less traffic and people. Highly recommended

Maria was a great tour guide, very informative. We really covered a ton of ground, which was fantastic. E-bikes are necessary for a tour this long, so definitely glad we had them.
Grüezi Thank you very much for the great feedback — we’ll be sure to pass it on to Maria. 🙂 The e-bike tour really does allow to cover a wider area and gives guests a chance to discover different parts of the city. We're glad to hear you enjoyed it! All the best, Stephanie Zürich Tourism
