Please don’t take this trip. Our guide tour was horrible and late also. No microphone. You can’t communicate with guide if you get lost. Terrible experience. Waste of money. Our guide tour name was Verena. Verena was terrible.
Was a very hot day in Zurich which started on a bus with no air conditioning and no windows to open. The bus was blowing air that was warm, we couldn’t listen to the guide or concentrate on what she was saying because we were just trying not to pas out in the heat (it was over 90F this day. Not sure why they didn’t use a bus with air conditioning, but it made us hot and tired from the beginning of the tour and we only got some relief later on at the Lindt factory. The guide (I think her name was Angela), was nice and knowledgable. I did a similar tour with Viator two years ago which was a bit better than this- we had more time in the old town with more information and a direct boat which didn’t make as many stops. Overall this tour was just ok
For those booking the optional Fifa tour, 1 hour @ Lindt is not enough time as the Shopping experience takes a lot of time. Thankfully the guide advised how to get back to the initial boat stop as when it as time to leave Lindt, I couldn't find him to get on the bus with him.
A good balance - walking tour of old town Zurich, a boat ride on the lake and a tour of the Lindt Factory.
This is NOT as advertised and prepare to be underwhelmed. No AC on the bus - and note - the bus will be at least two hours of dreadful heat and a tour guide who can’t explain anything about the city. Save your money! Scam!!!!!!
Great easy trip to see local shops and restaurants. Includes a trip to a hill overlooking the city for a photo.
Bus ride was hotter than outside the bus. The bus trip was too long and somewhat pointless. City walking tour was rushed - about 15 minutes. Tour guide began all addresses before the group behind her could catch up. She did not count the group or otherwise attempt to account for all participants as we walked. No instructions on how to proceed with audio devices in Lindt tour. Bottom line- waste of money, practically a self guided tour.
It was value for money. The guide and the driver were super! The Lindy experience was really worth it!
We went on the excursion as a family. The guide was Alexander, he was attentive at all times. He made the excursion very pleasant. The visit to the chocolate house was an unforgettable experience for the children.
Great tour! The guided tour as we drove n rode on the bus to our destinations was nice. The boat trip was nice on Lake Zurich, was nice, beautiful day for a boat ride although a a very warm day. The Lindt chocolate factory tour was nice-I loved the tasting stations. Robert was very informative and talked individually to each customer to make sure they were ok. Those of us who were unsure how to get back to Zurich HB , Robert gave us a time to meet and bought us back to the station. Great tour!
