This is more than just a cooking class—it’s a journey into the heart of Spanish culture, tradition, and flavor. What makes this experience truly special is that you’ll be learning a cherished family recipe that has been passed down through generations. These are not just any churros; they are the same ones my grandmother used to make, following the authentic techniques that have stood the test of time.
Unlike mass-produced churros, we’ll make them from scratch, by hand, just like locals have done for years. You’ll mix, shape, and fry them to golden perfection, experiencing the true art of traditional Spanish churros and chocolate.
All of this takes place in my apartment's cozy kitchen, right in the heart of Madrid. Here, surrounded by the energy of the city, you’ll get a taste of authentic Spanish home cooking, far from the tourist traps.

Churro-making class great for families!
Our family of 3 loved our churro-making class. Mich was a fantastic guide and had many great tips. We enjoyed our time with him. The churros were excellent. They were far better than any we got off the street. This was one of our most memorable experiences in Spain and we would highly recommend it.

We took a churro-making class and it was an absolute blast! The kids enjoyed it a lot, and the hands-on experience of making them from scratch made it extra special. The churros turned out incredible and tasted fantastic. We had so much fun that we will definitely be making lots more churros once we get back home. Highly recommend!

Delicious fun for my 9 year old and me!
Mitch was so kind. He welcomed us into his home and taught us how to cook his grandmother’s recipe of churros and chocolate. It was informative, fun and the churros tasted delicious!

This was a great experience for authentic and tasty churro making. I was with my teenage son who had a great time too. We can’t wait to make our own churros when we arrive home.

A great experience
What a fabulous experience. You will learn to make Churros the traditional way. A great experience and a great host. You won't regret doing this experience. FYI...the Churros taste so much better than what you will buy on the street.

Mixed Experience
Mitchel was very nice, but the experience did not match our expectations for the cost. It lasted about an hour, and while engaging, it was very simple and not very involved. There were no snacks or special drinks served. We had to ask for wine, which the description says the experience included, and felt like we were imposing. For the amount of money paid for a family of five, I would not recommend. We’ve done many classes and tours as a family, and this one was on the costly side, and included the least.

We had so much fun! It was just a different experience in an intimate setting, in the host's actual apartment. I have young kids and they were able to participate. The churros were delicious and we took home the leftovers, although we finished them at the park later before we even got home.
