We had a great EA t tour of three! Tapia was a great guide. Highly recommend!
We went as a couple and did the Tulum ruins and cenotes tour. The booking process was quick and easy, thanks to Aranza and Marisol. Our guide, Sabino, arrived right on time and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the tour. The experience at the cenotes was absolutely awesome and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We had a great time and would highly recommend this experience!
Private tour is the way to go for Chichen Itza! We appreciated the early pickup once we realized it helped us get to Chichen Itza before the big tour buses. Mario was very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza. He tried to do his talking in the shade where possible which was helpful. Lunch was authentic food and was delicious. The cenote was awesome and again minimal crowds. The car was clean, ample A/C and Mario would check in with us if we needed to stop to use the restroom along the way.
I’m glad I chose this private tour over some of the larger tours. Pickup was early but was appropriate as we missed the crowds in all the stops. The car was comfortable, clean and Mario had water for us as well. Mario stopped a couple times along the drive for us to use the restroom and buy any snacks from convenience store. He was very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and was mindful to try to keep his talking in the shade. The lunch restaurant was authentic food and was delicious. I enjoyed the cenote and especially being there with minimal crowds.
Xaman Ha Connections is truly worth every penny. Our guide (Mario) was fantastic and has a wealth of knowledge. My wife and I had a great day visiting Chichen Itza and Saamal Cenote. Chichen Itza is obviously a magical place and well worth a visit but Mario's insight and knowledge made it even more special. The Saamal cenote was pretty cool and fun to jump into for a quick cool down. The buffet, which I'm usually not a fan of, was actully quite good and there were plenty of choices to satisfy mid-day hunger. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Xaman Ha Connections and will definitely request Mario again. Thank you
Absolutely awesome experience. Traveling with a small group and arriving at Chichen Itza before the crowds is the way to go. We were impressed with the expertise of Mario our driver/tour guide and nothing felt rushed and was tailored to the interests of the group at any point of the trip. We also appreciated that the price of the tour was the price we paid. The Cenote and lunch were phenomenal. We also appreciated the free drinks that Mario had in the cooler in the van. All in all this is THE tour company you want to use when visiting Cancun. Also way cheaper than any of the options our resort offered.
We had a great day and the private tour catered to all our needs. Booking was simple with Marisol on hand via Whatapp to assist with enquiries. Our tour included a private car. Collection was on time. Our visit to Chichen Itza, was not rushed, it Included time on our own to buy souvenirs and take photos. Our tour guide Erika was knowledgeable and attentive. The Cenote visit to Saamal (they give you a choice of three. Or upgrade for a small additional cost to 2 Cenote if you wish) was enjoyable and again there was no hurry to be back on a bus, the time was decided by us. Drinking water was provided during the trip and an extensive buffet meal at the Cenote included a soft beverage. There is a rather large gift shop at Saamal and you ARE offered tequila tasting but there was no pushy sales person and are absolutely under no obligation to buy and can refuse the tasting if you wish. We would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to learn about Mayan culture without the hard sales, crowds and limited time allowance. A brief optional stop at Valladolid for a walk around on our own and take photos finished the day nicely. Erika was friendly and willing to answer all our questions, we had a great conversation about life and travel on the journey back. Thank You Erika.
We had a fantastic experience with Xaman-Ha Connections from start to finish. The booking process was so easy, and Marisol and Aranza were incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure everything was organised perfectly for our family. Our day visiting Chichén Itzá and swimming in the cave was one of the highlights of our holiday in Mexico. Sabino was a brilliant guide: friendly, knowledgeable and patient , and he made the whole experience really enjoyable for all of us. We learned so much without the day ever feeling rushed or overly organised, and everything ran very smoothly. The early start also meant that we arrived at Chichen Itza before the crowds arrived which was also a big plus of the trip. The cave swim after was amazing too. We would happily recommend Xaman-Ha Connections to anyone looking for a well-organised, personal and memorable experience in the Riviera Maya.
We did the small group .. 6 people total. Amazing! Prepare to sweat at Chichen Itza then cool off at the cenote. Timing was perfect because the cenote didn’t have anyone in it when we got there.
My family had a wonderful experience with Xaman-Ha Connections on our tour to Chichen Itza and Cenote Saamal! I asked to make a change to the date of our tour prior to arriving in Cancun. The staff were polite, helpful & accommodating! Our guide, Sabino, made us feel safe & well cared for the entire time. He was knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts with us. The swim at the cenote was the highlight of our entire trip! It was really a welcomed end to our day that cooled us off and delighted the kids! We booked the Small Group Tour but it ended up a private tour that day as we were the only family. We were able to leave early, drive in a small 12 person van & beat all the large bus tours before the big groups crowded the sites. We were back in time for dinner & an evening swim at the pool.
