I offer great stories and good times! What makes this tour unique is that I can promise that you will be getting me, Adam Moore, as your tour guide.
With some of the other larger tour companies you never know who your guide could be. When you book this tour you can be reassured that I will be your guide. This makes sure that you will be getting a licensed and engaging tour guide here in Charleston.
In addition to that, most tours in Charleston will take out 20 people on a tour. I keep my tours smaller and max out at 14-15 people. By having smaller groups it allows my guests to have a more personalized and unique experience.

Poogans Porch is Charleston's most haunted restaurant. It opened up in 1976 as a restaurant and that's when the ghost stories started coming.

This beautiful cobblestone road is one of the oldest in the city. It was laid out in 1680 and it has a lot of dark history behind it. We talk about the various wars fought in Charleston, the enslavement of people, hurricanes, fires and floods...all of which have seem to have left some ghosts in the area.

Built in the 1750's I tell a famous ghost story outside of the old courthouse which is located on the corner of Broad Street and Meeting Street

Great Ghost Tour!
Adam is a historian and even in his ghost tour it shows. We were looking for a tour that would be informative and entertaining without being gimmicky and we found it.

Thanks Megan, I never what to be gimmicky or hockey so that is a huge compliment. I am indeed a historian and studied history at USC and give history tours during the day. When there are times we are waiting for a light to cross the street I can't help myself but drop some random history knowledge :)

Charleston's Dark and Creepy History
We had a great time our our dark history tour. We obviously learned about some of the famous ghosts and dark history of Charleston, but also learned some just general history tidbits about the city as well. The tour wasn't overly scary, so it would be fine for kids and adults. The photos of the jail and Boo Hag story at the end were definitely creepy though. Maybe plan to stay up for a bit after the tour and not (try to) go right to sleep after the tour.

This was my second time booking this tour with Adam, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! The content of the ghost tour is great, but he's a historian, too, so you can ask bonus questions about Charleston.

Incredible.
Adam was insanely knowledgeable about the history of Charleston AND had some creepy stories to tell! Definitely recommend if you want to learn more about the dark history of CHS. We want to do more tours with Adam!

Adam knows his stuff
Adam was great for answering questions and had a deep knowledge of Charleston and the ghosts that haunt it. His stories ranged from fun to terrifying. We had our pre teen children with us and they had a great time and weren't overly frightened from any of the stories but did get the creeps, which is what we were aiming for.

Short and Sweet
It wasn't a very long (in duration or distance) tour, but I feel like it hit all of the high points and left us with a desire to seek out more information on certain things during our stay. Didn't stray into the questionable tall tales some tours do - stuck to the well documented, confirmed stories.
